This is my first finish for the year and my first completion for #dpstashdown2024 with @spiritofdiamondpainting This is now my favorite diamond painting I've ever worked on. The colors are amazing and so is the placement of allllll the AB drills. There are so many. I enjoy this fun representation of another craft I love. I can't wait to get her framed and up on my wall. Unfortunately life has still been annoyingly crazy and busy. And to make things worse I've been having a fibromyalgia flare for just over a week now. I'm in a lot of pain and today I was stuck in bed and needed my walker to get around. But I finally got to diamond paint today. I finished one partial section and did a whole other section. I cannot tell you how WONDERFUL it is being able to diamond paint again. My mental health has missed it dearly. I'm mostly settled into my apartment and I finally have a bed I can sleep in. So now I can diamond paint in my lift chair, in my bed, and at my desk (once I've gotten it cleared up and organized). No new purchases in a long time. I'll barely be able to buy anything now. But I have so many paintings that I will be set for a long time. Threads of the Universe is incredibly confetti heavy but it is SO worth it. It is coming along beautifully and now that I'm getting to diamond paint again I'm making great progress. I'm SO sorry about the radio silence. I had no idea I'd need to be spending most of my time making hand knit items for my booth. I've barely been able to diamond paint. 😭 And of course it's when I'm finally participating in an event again. 😅 My current focus is on Threads of the Universe for the #loveyourreflectiondp event. We are to do a canvas that we feel represents us. What little I've gotten accomplished so far is absolutely gorgeous. So many ABs which I love. I think the greatest ABs are 141 because you can really see that coating. I have a craft fair on December 2. Yesterday I took this pic of the skirt I was wearing with a thread crossing by “accident” But I believe there are no coincidences since yesterday I was being held by a dear friend on a healing conversation about someone I lost.
