We took some new trails and over the Trinity's visited Trinty lakes then back to Black's Creek. Quad Cross NorthWest Final rounds at the beautiful Washugal MX Track! Round 11: 3rd place overall, it took me a while to get used to this track. The elevation change threw off the tune so I had to fight that the first day. My fitness felt great for having so many elevation changes. Round 12: 3rd place Overall. Had a incident at the first holeshot, but we managed to get out of that and get back to racing. I had a problem with my handlebars rolling back which made it difficult to control but I was able to push through and hold onto my 3rd place position. Thanks to @bartelcasey for taking these awesome shots! This was a bittersweet race as it was my final race on the Raptor 250. It’s been a great bike for my past 2 seasons and now I’m ready to step it up with a 450! I had some trouble with my rear brake and it slowed me down a bit but I think my overall performance was great. Round 10: 3rd place overall. I can’t express how thankful I am of this awesome community. We were lining the quad up on the line when we noticed my quad was wobbling a ton. Upon closer inspection my carrier bearing was completely shot. The Montgomery’s let me borrow there back up quad and I was still able to race. If it weren’t for them I would have had to take a DNF. When I was in elementary school I wore black tear-aways every single day. Seriously. You know those black nylon pants with the white stripe on the side with snaps you can just rip open? I wore those EVERY day. I had probably 5 or 6 pairs and that’s all I would cycle through until laundry day. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The Trail Tank is my adult tear-away (see I did have a relevant point 😉😂). I’ve collected a few Trail Tanks over the years and wear them incessantly. They go under sweatshirts and button downs in the winter. They fill in for my Andie Bra when I’m PMSing and don’t want anything compressive on my body. They are the perfect body suit alternative to go with my high rise bottoms.
