It should be considered as a safe place for your cat and here's how: 1) Place in the room your cat frequents the most - make it part of the furniture that they can explore at their leisure 2) leave the door open and of course it must be on a flat, stable surface. it must also be large enough that they can stand and turn around if needed. 3) make it inviting - soft blankets, favorite toys and treats. Catnip or catnip toys as well if your kitty likes it. 4) After she settles in- napping and grooming (so you know she's comfortable), you can start taking her for little drives in the crate start with short trips and increase.
