I cannot be trusted in a fabric shop! ð Iâm really fortunate to live only 15 miles from McNaughtons of Perth, who weave all sorts of beautiful fabrics, including a vast array of tartans, tweeds, linen and silks. Normally when I take Rebel out on the road I tend not to travel more than an hour from home. There are several reasons for this, the days are long enough, I like my own bed, and the money spent with me then stays local. ð However when I heard about this event I just had to apply for a space. ð Can you believe that The Kelpies are 10 years old? Well The Crumble did not disappoint! ðððð Absolutely lovely day trading at Arngask Home Farm, lovely fellow traders, the food on offer looked incredible (not that we got any Chichen Schwarna as the queues were insane ð) Despite the rain there were lots of happy smiley people out enjoying a shop and a stroll about the countryside! This is one of the many new garments in the pipeline, fortunately timeless, as I may have missed the weather boat! I bought this faux fur last year, as the one I wanted was out of stock, and this didnât work for its intended purpose. However, I knew immediately that I could use it to do this. ð Lined here with wine duchess satin, and fastened with a leather loop and an Art Nouveau style button. Fabrics with a multitude of colours in it is always trickier to match to a lining than those who are one or two colours.
