This shop is located in Universal City Walk near the entrance of Universal Studios theme park. Here you can find more than 50 types of doughnuts also their originals and one-of-a-kind delectables donuts like the Dirt Doughnut, the Memphis Mafia and the Bacon Maple Bar. You knew there is one spicy donut? Is 100% recommended by me and you can’t visit the universal theme parks without getting one, or two or 10. Just chillin’ with Princess Fiona and her Noble Steed back in 2009 for my first ever trip to Universal! I haven’t seen this in my more recent trips so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s been replaced. Especially now they have Shrek 4D. But it is advertised that you can meet Shrek and Donkey at Universal Studios. If you’ve ever spoken to the Shrunken Head on the Knight Bus over at TWWOHP (which j recommend you make time to do!) it’s the same kind of meet and greet where Donkey is a live character interaction, so whoever is operating it can see and here you can can react to each person individually. Donkey is reported to actually be a puppet rather than an animatronic! Which is a little old school for Universal parks but it works! And if it ain’t broke!...(don’t unnecessarily replace I guess!) The voice actor imitates Eddy Murphy style characteristics do it’s a really fun and authentic feeling character meet and greet. We didn’t get to meet Shrek! But we happened to see these hues as we were passing so it was a great little impromptu character spot! I solemnly swear I miss Hogsmeade✨ • • • Honestly guys! The fact that I’m no longer an UOAP makes me very sad, especially knowing I could be experiencing the preview at the parks right now!!! Being 2 hours away makes us choose between UO & WDW... and due to Disney truly being our happy place and having more parks to offer, we have been choosing Disney. BUT that does not change the love I have for UO & IOA- these parks make me cry just like Disney does! They are all filled with so much magic, joy, and happiness.
