Took a couple walks with Rusty today, all of these work sites are within 10 minutes of our place and there are more! I thought the orange cones were bad last year but it is insane this year. Rush hour is bad and it makes it hard for people just to get home from Victoria bridge backlog. So much for coordination of construction sites, all of the major roads in #PSC have some work and some of these have dragged on for years now - like Grand Trunk. We had a beautiful cross walk installed at Shearer and Centre about 5 years ago - which have been dug up about 4 times. #urbandog #weinerdog @mtl_ville #orangecones #montreal #montrealconstruction J'ai fait quelques promenades avec Rusty aujourd'hui. Tous ces chantiers se trouvent à moins de 10 minutes de chez nous et il y en a d'autres ! Je pensais que les cônes orange étaient mauvais l'année dernière, mais cette année, c'est de la folie. Les heures de pointe sont difficiles et les gens ont du mal à rentrer chez eux. Toutes les routes principales de #PSC sont en travaux et certaines d'entre elles traînent depuis des années, comme le Grand Trunk. Il y a environ 5 ans, nous avons fait installer de magnifiques passages piétons à l'angle de Shearer et de Centre, qui ont été déterrés 4 fois.

Time for an appreciation post 💌 I often think and talk about our problems, but now I want to emphasize the good things we have. ✅ Rio has zero problems with runners or bicycles. ✅ He navigates in the city really well, not afraid of buses, trams, etc. ✅ He has no issues in smaller crowds or bigger groups of people. ✅ He's very good in the car, no issues even on long trips. ✅ He has zero agression issues, no resource guarding, nor any other kinds of agressive behaviours. (other than sometimes barking at things. If he gets scared he choses to flight, I've never ever seen the fight response from him, not even in really stressful situations, like the vet.) ✅ He doesn't eat things found on the street. He's simply not interested. ✅ If he can approach a dog, and they are not agressive right away, Rio will love them with no questions asked. ✅ He is an amazing partner in doing literally everything.
