Little update on the vxr! After fitting the perspex windows had to finish off the door releases and refit the @trackcardoorcards. Got some keyrings off ebay for the door releases and think it finishes it off nicely 😂 got the fuel drained out ready to drop the fuel tank off so i can do the surge tank system (donated into @sarah_gsi tank) and get the car up on axle stands ready for removing the @gripperdifferentials diff so i can send it off for a service! Flashback Friday! 2017 was the year, and Wannagofast was having a 1/2 mile event at the Stanly County Airport down in New London NC. A bunch attended that day, including the pre famous Grubbworm Camaro doing duties as a street/strip brawler. Several runs were made that weekend, and the highest the Grubb went was 179mph. That sounds awesome because back in 2017, it was awesome. Finally got rid of the electric windows for some acw motorsport plastic replacements (xmas present from @sarah_gsi) so put the front doors on a little diet while i was at it 😂 made some brackets to hold the new windows up so all mounted solid! Needed to make this piece first so I can see where I need to prep my metal abit more and then some weld threw primer, that curved piece for the trans to fwd footwell transition was abit of a pain to get but with abit of manhandling from a doly and hammer I'm happy.
