Friendship Station Pottery is the friendliest small-batch, handmade pottery and ceramic arts studio you will find in Eugene—specializing in utilitarian objects like platters and plates that are designed to be both functional and visually appealing! As a visual artist who is drawn to the Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi and natural landscapes, Kate finds inspiration in the rugged coastlines of Oregon and the Massachusetts beaches close to where she grew up near Cape Cod. Each piece from Friendship Station Pottery incorporates earthy hues and textures that give a sense of the past. A resident of Eugene since 2018, Kate has professional art and design training and has focused on ceramics within the past 5 years. She works out of @wildlingcollaborativearts based in the Whitaker neighborhood. She also kiln fires and purchases all clay and glazes available or sourced from Eugene and Pacific Northwest business, or directly from Wildling Collaborative Arts.
