Naga/Local green peppercorns, also known as khamosthi in sumi.(names vary according to the region though). I have tried several ways to preserve it because these are seasonal, and doesn’t last long, but nothing worked😔
I love this chutney and would love to eat this all year long. 😄 Anyway, this seem to work and also retain the smell better than other techniques that i have tried!
So these are smoked peppercorns, sent by my mom-in-law from her garden 😍 (sun-dried might also work) Grind it into a powder form, store it in an airtight container and keep it in the fridge. Nothing can replace the fresh and strong flavour🤤 of these pepper corns but yes!! Something is better than nothing 🤗
