We are back! This trip we had the meal plan (thanks @ez_atdisney). With 8 people, we got 2 snacks per day, 1 quick serve, and 1 table service. I honestly do not know how people use all of these in one day! Multiply that by the 7 days we were staying there and that’s a lot of food.

We were able to use most of our snacks around EPCOT and mostly for pop corn. We did not waste our snacks on bottled beverages; just ask for a cup of water for free! •

On check out day, each person had 3 snacks and 4 quick serves. Half of our party bought as much as they could, but literally could not fit anymore candy bags in their luggage. That’s when we learned that 1 quick serve = 3 snacks!

James and I headed to @disneysprings with a grand total of 8 snacks and 11 quick serve meals that needed to be redeemed within hours. This is the perfect LAST DAY plan! •

Redeemed 8 snack bags at the store World of Disney. (They were not able to convert the quick serves into snacks.). We each used a quick serve for breakfast, which brought us to 9. Then we met up with a friend and treated her and her children to lunch and we got dinner for our late plane ride. If you’re calculating, we’re now down to 5 quick serves, b u t, that is equal to 15 snacks. For the cookies, apples, rice krispy treats and (of course) more candy, head to Goofy Candy Co., order what you want looking for the DDP symbol, bring it to the register and redeem your credits! •

We wound up buying a reusable shopping bag and padding the bottom with gummy candy, wrapping the cookies in 2 shirts, and then using the trail mix like more bubble wrap. •

even when I thought I knew a lot about Disney, this was a total learning experience for us with the meal plan. What do you think? Do you utilize the meal plan or go rogue?! .
