Absolutely gorgeous (but hot) day here in Disney world! Quick midday stop by Magic Kingdom to get my weekend getaway started! Had the egg rolls (cheeseburger, I’d had before. Pizza was new. One thing I always say I'm going to do and still haven't done when I go to @waltdisneyworld is watch Fantasmic. It looks absolutely incredible, and I have absolutely no idea why we haven't seen it 🙈 The closest I've gotten to Fantasmic is this yummy cookie with Mickey and the Maleficent dragon. An amazing brunch to celebrate our last day in Disney!! 🐭🪄💗🥳💖 We went to @summerhouseonthelake at Disney Springs. 🎉 Restaurant Review 🎉 Located in the center of Disney World’s Old Key West Resort, you’ll find “Olivia’s Cafe”, which is a delicious take on food that you’d find in the Florida Keys. The restaurant ambiance felt like you were at a family owned beach establishment, and it was beautiful! Olivia’s Cafe serves both brunch and dinner, and on this particular day, we tried the brunch, and we were pleasantly surprised! We highly enjoyed both things we tried: -Southernmost Buttermilk Chicken: Which comes with a large portion of fried chicken covered in white gravy, one of the best biscuits I’ve ever had, mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies. -Shrimp Fritters: Which I can best describe to you as slightly spicy shrimp hush puppies. Very delicious, very fresh tasting! As with most Disney restaurants that we’ve been to, the service was impeccable as well. Can’t wait to go back and try more!

Dinner at Takumi-Tei, Disney World Epcot’s newest Japanese restaurant, an 8 course seasonal omakase. Beautiful ambience and amazing service. On my way to the bathroom, they even had 5 waitresses bow on my way, and then bow again on my way out 😂. Salad Course, Tofu with Black Truffle dressing, Crab Salad with an Ume Garlic Dressing Uni Shooter with Wakame Sautéed Spinach, Ikura, Bonito, marinated in vinegar Sushi Course Salmon, Tai, Butterfish nigiri Mixed Cut roll For everyone wondering, their rice wasn’t great, but what’d you expect in a children’s theme park lol. Vinegar seasoning was ok, but texture horrible. (I can be a sushi snob now) Sakurajima cocktail Kaiyo Whiskey, Lemon, Smoked with Cherrywood. Awesome theme music during presentation Lobster Tail Tempura Togarashi Ponzu, Yuzu Salt Sashimi Course Otoro, Kanpachi, Mugi Scallop Wagyu NY Strip Black Sesame Sauce, Shiso Sauce, Sautéed Mushrooms marinated in Soy, Mashed Taters Fun Dessert Course Matcha, Vanilla Wafer, Nutella, Strawberry, Grape, Black Sesame Icecream, Graham Crumble. Told to try each components separately, then make a sandwich Finished off with Matcha tea mixed table side Over all, this was definitely overpriced by about $70 or so, but beautiful decor. Each room was themed around a natural element within Godai, Japanese Buddhist philosophy. We were sat in the Earth room. Overall, yummy dinner. Le Cellier, what a lot of people say is Disney World’s best steakhouse, and I gotta say, I definitely see why. Prime Beef Tartare, kibbeh nayeh, radish, mint, garlic aioli. This was delicious, best thing I’ve eaten during my entire stay. Could hold up on a regular steakhouse’s menu, not just by theme park standards. Le Cellier’s signature Beef Bourguignon Poutine, with gruyère, gravy, garlic aioli, and truffle. Absolutely horrible, I hate skinny fries in my poutine. Gruyère is not a great choice for poutine, lacked the proper cheese curd size and squeaky texture offered from using mozzarella or cheddar, which is such a key aspect of poutine. Had trouble poutine this in my mouth, tbh. Cheddar Cheese Soup, Moosehead Pale Ale, applewood smoked bacon. Thick and warming, like a beautiful woman’s thighs. Filet Mignon, mushroom risotto, pomodoraccio, truffle butter sauce. I hate it when steak is plated on top of risotto, but they get a pass because the cook and seasoning were all perfect. Chocolate Lava Cake You know I love me some table side pour action Maple Crème Brûlée with gooseberry, chantilly, and vanilla tuille. Idk who told the staff, but I love gooseberries, so this was a sick move Victoria Gardens Sorbet, made of a blend of in season berries, Hibiscus Meringue, and some micro herb. This is the best dessert/sweet I had on the whole trip. I could probably eat a whole pint. Meringue had amazing texture. Chocolate Moose lol I only ate 3 steaks while at Disney World, but this was easily the best, both on the steak itself, and the entire restaurant as a whole. Way better than the whack ass meal I had at STK in Disney Springs.
