![[Book Review time!]<br />My Sister the Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite <br />As mentioned before I read this as part of the #bookstagramreadsthebooker hashtag by @cheriebooksreadthisyear. I think I chose quite a good book because, let's face it, I won't read all of them. Not even many of them. This one though I did enjoy quite a bit. It was something completely different for me to read and I loved it for that. I'm pretty sure I had never read a book set in Nigeria before. The story of Korede and her sister Ayoola, who kills her boyfriends was intriguing and exciting. Did I like the characters in the book? No, not a single one of them. But I was still invested and wanted to know the end of the story! I flew through this book! (To be fair, it is reeeeeeally easy and quick to read. Maybe a bit too easy even) However the book has some problems as well. The characters are rather bland and at times cut-out like. There is not too much background to the story given and it feels a little rushed. I felt like there could have been a bit more substance to the story, especially since it is such an interesting story!
