在油街玻璃屋地下的展覽場地，觀眾可觀賞三份不同樂譜🎼。其中，象牙白色封面的樂譜名為《約翰．基治 - 4分33秒》，是激浪派（Fluxus）以機率及玩味推動創作的印證。藉着全曲休止符，此現代音樂著作提倡深度傾聽，讓人細聽蘊藏於日常環境中形形色色的聲音。 以《4分33秒》作為引子，展覽空間另外展出了兩份現場藝術作品，擴充有關實驗性作曲及記譜方式的探究。林丰透過《圈》的三個樂章整理自麻雀遊戲的各種聲響；馬寞路在《橙汁汽水典禮》審視預備飲料過程中每個細微動作及物質。當日常活動移師表演舞台，日常物件亦被重新改造成樂器，樂譜作為描述表演指令的媒介，揭示了樂曲由藝術家鋪排、操縱，以及表演者或觀眾可融合即興元素的各個部份。 如基治所言，Happy New Ears👂🏻！ On the G/F of Oi! Glassie, visitors will find three enigmatic musical scores🎼. Amongst them is an ivory cover booklet entitled 𝙅𝙤𝙝𝙣 𝘾𝙖𝙜𝙚 - 𝟰’𝟯𝟯”, a fond remembrance of the element of chance and play that shapes the Fluxus. With only rests marked on its pages, this modernist piece calls for deep listening as an entrance to infinite sound potentials in our surroundings. Using this seminal work as a springboard, two other performance-based works extend the inquiry into experimental approaches to musical compositions and notations. In 𝙍𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙, Fung Lam organises sounds of a mahjong game in three movements; in 𝙊𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚 𝙎𝙤𝙙𝙖 𝘾𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙮, Mamoru scrutinises every micro gesture and substance involved in preparing a drink. Where daily activities are transported to the performance stage and everyday objects are repurposed into musical instruments, scores, as a medium that indicates playing instructions, visualise which parametres are determined by the artist, and which can be improvised by performers or the audience. Meet My Team [Part.6] 안태민 Ahn Taimin @taiminaaaan 홍보물 디자인 | Promotional Poster and Pamphlet Design 전시 포스터, 팸플릿을 디자인 해 주신 안태민 그래픽디자이너입니다. _ 전시 준비 초기부터 억새와 여자1명으로 덤덤한 분위기의 포스터를 떠올렸었다. 스튜디오를 빌려서 찍어야하나 어쩌나 은정씨랑도 같이 고민해보다가 이지원 작가님이 하늘공원 가서 찍는 건 어떠냐고 제안해주셔서 오오...! 하고 결정. 작년 가을에 마침 전시운영과 체육대회를 하늘공원으로 가서 내 모습을 촬영해서 테스트 해 보기도 하고 타이틀디자인도 해 보고 시안을 여럿 만들어보았지만 제대로 된 그래픽디자인 안 한지가 오래되어서 시간대비 비효율적이었다ㅋㅋㅋ 역시나 디자이너에게 맡겨야 한다고 생각했고 떠오른 것이 태민이었다. 내가 인쇄하는 거니까 비대면으로 작업하면 되지 않을까 한거였는데 마침 한국에 돌아와있었던! 같이 작업 할 운명이다 하고 자연스럽게 합류하게 되었다. 며칠 차이로 합류한 정모님, 은정씨와 함께 하늘공원 가서 '덜 익은' 억새를 배경으로 최종 포스터에 들어갈 사진을 찍었다! (feat. 태민이 미러리스) 그러고 포스터부터 팸플릿 순서대로 작업했다. 과정은 우여곡절이 많았고 나는 많은 것을 배웠다. 태민이 고맙.......매우.....고맙......고맙.....😢 기숙사 옆방으로 코앞에 지냈지만 막상 태민이랑 같이 작업은 해 본적이 없어서 서로의 작업 스타일을 처음 맞춰갔고, 내가 학교 프로젝트처럼 작업을 진행하다보니 태민이가 혼란스러워했다. 흑흑. 다음엔 클라이언트와 디자이너 관계로서 빠릿하게 작업을 하는 것으로!! 그리고 태민이가 매우 힙한 브랜딩디자인 스튜디오에 성공적으로 입사하게 되어서 일과 병행해야하니 시간적으로 여유가 좀 줄어들었다. 그래도 종내에는 어찌됐든 작업을 완성할 수 있었다. - 태민이는 12월 16일 전시 개막 바로 다음날에 왔는데 막상 팸플릿이 배송이 안 되었던 주말이라 ㅠㅠ ㅋㅋㅋ 열심히 디자인 해 놓고 못 받아갔었다. 3월에야 팸플릿과 포스터를 전달할 수 있었다. - 아무튼 전시 와 주신 분들 저희의 팸플릿과 포스터가 전시 내용을 이해하는데에 도움이 되었길 바라며 감사드립니다! _ 들리지 않게 들려주고 싶은 말 unspoken words i want to say 2023.12.15.-12.31. In our futuristic sneaker exhibition space at @nrwforum , visitors are immersed in a world of innovation, not only in design but also in new materials and new productions. The sneakers were curated and selected by curator @alina.fcht and curatorial assistant @jolande___ , supported by @studiofitz.design for the graphics. The unique scenography, design and execution are by @studio.mudio , who created a blend of laboratory and industrial aesthetics to perfectly showcase the futuristic sneakers. The shoes are displayed in floating acrylic tubes, while information about the sneakers is available on the walls. Letter shapes are calculated and writing is unnecessary. As a child at school I always wondered why this was so separated: letters are often part of mathematical theorems. Just think of the Pythagorean theorem: A2 + B2 = C2. In the work ‘Abcus’ I combine both worlds. The title is a pun on Abbacus, the ancient means of calculating. Duur expositie: 5 mei 2024 tot en met 30 juni 2024 OVER DE EXPOSITIE Het startpunt van deze expositie is de vertaling van een Noorse roman naar het Nederlands: Wachtruimte in de Atlantische Oceaan van Mona Høvring. Vertaler Liesbeth Huijer nodigde Astrid de Pauw uit elkaars werk te versterken door het vertaalproces van dichtbij te observeren en op basis van de roman tekeningen te maken. Het resultaat is een serie tekeningen die het complexe karakter van het hoofdpersonage in haar omgeving visualiseert. Astrid nodigde hierop Willem Besslink en Maaike Gottschal uit een werk te maken geïnspireerd op dezelfde roman. Willem Besselink maakt een wandvullende installatie waarbij hij met kleurlijnen de constructie van het boek blootlegt. Ook maakte hij een nieuwe tekening van het boek, die te zien is als deel van de serie tekeningen Romankleuren. Maaike Gottschal gebruikt de progressie die zij in het boek herkent om haar eigen ontwikkeling als kunstenaar te visualiseren.
