I just returned from the Artist Reception for my show - CHASING THE LIGHT - at the Vanilla Bean Café in Pomfret CT. Great evening. The show continues through April 29. Join us today at noon for a FREE interactive talk featuring artists from The Boston Printmakers North American Print Biennial 2023, moderated by exhibitor Susan Denniston. Susan is a painter, printmaker, and mixed media artist based on Boston’s South Shore. Born in Pittsburgh, Susan earned her BA from Bates College and has also studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, MassArt, the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown and at Studio Camnitzer outside Lucca, Italy. A dedicated artist since 2000, Susan has exhibited her work widely including the International Print Triennial in Krakow, Poland. Her work is in the collection of the Boston Public Library and can also be found in museum collections in Vietnam and Cuba, among others. The past President of the Monotype Guild of New England, she is currently on the Executive Board of the Boston Printmakers and is also a member of other organizations, like the National Association of Women Artists and the Los Angeles Printmaking Society. We are delighted to have such an accomplished printmaker present to moderate this discussion.
