Just in time for Cinco de Mayo weekend… two of our favorite peculiarities are returning! 🍻🍍🍊✌️ . 4 Quarterez, our sour ale with orange zest and juice and fresh spearmint. Inspiration originated from a funky mojito that Emeril Lagasse made with an ugly fruit. The ugly fruit didn’t work for us, but the orange did! One of the best thirst-quenching summer slammers we’ve ever made. Literally the best crusher when its hot out. . We also have a tequila barrel-aged version of 4 Quarterez we’re releasing this weekend, check out our other post about it! . Piña Peño, our sour ale with sea salt (reminiscent of a Gose style), pineapple, and fresh jalapeño. It’s time! This weekend we are releasing our 7th annual batch of Juniper Rose! This IPA is brewed with Frontier Coop’s organic hibiscus and the Pink Boots 2024 hop blend of HBC 638, El Dorado, Ahtanum, and Idaho 7, coming in at 7.3%. Another great batch, colored rose, and bursting with raspberry, strawberry, cherry, and even citrus aromas like orange and tangerine. . This beer is the namesake of our founder’s daughter, 11 year old Juniper Rose Eckert, who got in the trenches once again, her 7th (!) year in a row, and led the brew along with help from our own Four Quarters’ brew team! This Double IPA brewed with Galaxy and Ella hops has flavors of hydrogen, spiral galaxies, red giants, white dwarves, neutrons, nebulas, and supernovas. . The can label art comes from the @nasahubble Space Telescope. The Hubble Extreme Deep Field is the most distant image of the Universe ever created. The telescope fixed its lens on a black spot in space for four months and found a surprise. Within this field of view there are more than 5000 galaxies and 600 trillion stars. The Sugar Plum Fairy is a 10% Belgian Strong Dark Ale inspired by the Christmas tree. 🧚♀️ The tradition of the Christmas tree dates back to the 8th century when in Scandinavia Yule trees, often evergreens which represented eternal life and the hope of the sun's return, were brought inside to provide a warm and festive place for tree elementals who inhabited the woodland. 🎄 This was also a good way to coax the native faery folk to participate in Solstice rituals. This spooky green IPA is next up for me tonight! This Place is Haunted was one of several beers I picked up on my visit to @4quartersbrew (along with a new glass)! Per their tap list, it is colored with sustainably harvested witch blood. Pours a murky green with a lovely white head that laces beautifully as you drink. First smell gives a lot of character from mosaic hops- loads of tropical fruit!
