On International Women's Day, on Friday, March 8 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m, we are partnering with @bighearttea and @shopgoldengems to bring St. Louis trailblazers together to spill their stories about their success, hardships, and inspiring journeys. The panel will be paired with a special tea-focused cocktail menu curated by @bighearttea (your ticket includes an OPEN BAR!) along with small bites, local women-owned vendors to folks to browse along with swag bags filled with goodies. Emmy-award-winning reporter, Alexis Zotos (she/her), will moderate the event with featured speakers including Founder and CEO of Big Heart Tea, Lisa Govro (she/her) and Amanda Helman and Susan Logsdon, founders of @shopgoldengems and @hiddengemstl. We are happy to announce our newest quarterly exhibition, a group of artists from St. Louis-based collective @1419artcollective, who sponsors exceptional emerging artists that represent diverse communities and amplify their work through the medium of print. Nine local artists will be featured in this quarterly show that inspire and awe the viewer and whose visions seek to better our world. Featured artists include Ali Breitbach, William Bristol, Roland Burrow, MaryAnn George, Kalika Rose Groaning, Alvin Lewis, David Ruggeri, Dean Schultz and Jamaal Tatum. Join us for the Opening Reception, First Friday, March 1st 5-8pm and meet the artists during Grand Centerโs monthly ArtWalk. Free and open to the public.
