11月19日 国立バルドー博物館 ここ数年閉館中で今回のツアーに含まれてなかったけど再開して行けることに☺️ 2015年銃乱射襲撃事件で22名死亡、内日本人３人が犠牲になりエントランスには犠牲者名全員のモザイクが刻まれ日本名も３人分。祈りを捧げて入場。奥の銃撃現場には銃痕がそのまま残されていてシュンとする… バルドー博物館、なにもかもが壮大で素晴らしい✨ 半日がかりで見回ってなかなかの疲労。 なのに出口のお土産屋さんで女性陣は元気復活。 お高いけどお洒落セレクトショップ。 品物に安心感あるのはさすが国立博物館内。 最後は巨大ショッピングセンター、世界のカルフールでチュニジア最後のお買い物タイム。 ここで私はやらかした。 残ったチュニジアコイン分の板チョコを買ったら小数点分会計オーバー。 手元に全額出してオーバー分は品物キャンセルと伝えたつもりなんだけど、高校生くらいの若い女性はNO,NO,待って、そのまま、とジェスチャー。 電話で誰か呼んでるからキャンセルでいいですーって伝えても大丈夫だからって。その間後ろのおじさん待たされて「なにしてんだこのアジア人」って呆れてるしカードで決済すると言っても大丈夫だから安心して！って。 しばらくしたら若い女性社員っぽい人が来て足りない分をカルフールのお金で補ってくれて板チョコ全部渡されたんだけど汗は吹き出すわ恥ずかしいわ申し訳ないわオジサンの視線が最後まで痛いわもう、、、 それをガイドさんに言ったら「アジア人観光客は珍しいから親切にしたんですよ、好意です」ってフォローされたけどいい歳した大人としてはただただ羞恥心！！！ でもチュニジアの若い女性店員さんたち親切にありがとう🫶今度からはちゃんと小数点も計算してキャンセル出さないように正確に持っていきまちゅ… #バルドー博物館 #bardonationalmuseum #チュニジア #tunisia #🇹🇳

My high school home economics teacher, Mrs. Theresa Smith, gave me a tremendous love of mosaics. Mrs. Carolyn Snow at Berry College taught me about eggshell mosaics which just deepened my appreciation of this art form. When I went to Turkey, the visit to the mosaic museum in Gazientep was a must. But I had no idea Tunisia had excavated so many mosaics which are all beautifully displayed in the Bardo National Museum in Tunis. My husband does not like museums so we normally limit our museum time while traveling but on our recent visit to The Bardo, we spent nearly 5 hours taking in all the history and viewing the beautiful mosaics. Bardo Milli Müzesi, Tunus (المتحف الوطني بباردو) 17 Eylül 2023, Pazar 13:42 Nur Sena İçten Koleksiyonlarının zenginliği nedeniyle Akdeniz havzasının ve dünyanın en önde gelen arkeoloji ve mozaik müzesi olan Bardo Milli Müzesi, Cumhurbaşkanı Kays Said’in 25 Temmuz 2021’de aldığı olağanüstü kararla, Millet Meclisi Binasının yanında olması ve birtakım yenileme çalışmaları gerekçesiyle iki yıl süreyle kapatılmıştı. O tarihten bu güne bekleyişlerimin ardından nihayet 14 Eylül 2023 tarihi itibariyle müze, araştırmacılara ve ziyaretçilere kapılarını açtı. Kültürel değeri ve ülke turizminin önde gelen mekanı olması nedeniyle müzenin açılması gerektiği konusundaki tebliğler, Tunuslu pek çok akademisyen, entelektüel ve siyasi aktivist tarafından üstlenilmişti. Müze, Tunus’un tarih, kültür ve sosyo-ekonomik alanlarındaki araştırmalarım ve özelde Tunus topraklarında doğup batan medeniyetlerin yaşam haritasını çıkarmak bakımından benim için önemli bir kaynaktır. Milattan önceki yüzyıllarda varlık gösteren Tunus'un kök medeniyetlerinden Libya, Numidya, Fenike-Kartaca gibi kent devletlerinin yaşam hikayelerini kültürel, dini ve sosyo-ekonomik açıdan anlatan mozaik levhaları üzerinden sergilenmektedir. Müze, Roma İmparatorluğu'nun uzun süreli mücadele sonrasında yıktığı Kartaca’nın yerine kurduğu şehirlerin kalıntılarını da ön planda sergiliyor. Müze Libya, Kartaca, Numidya, Roma dönemine ait tapınak ve steller; tanrı ve tanrıça heykelleri, kilise mozaikleri ve lahitler içeriyor. Daha da önemlisi, Arap-İslam devletlerinin Hicaz’dan Şam'a ve Endülüs’e uzanan tarih yazımını aktaran, Osmanlı Tunus Beylerbeyi dönemini işleyen müze, bu yönüyle Tunus medeniyetlerinin haritasını çıkardığım bir araştırma sahası oluyor.
