Anyhoo, the “South Carolina Bebe’s kids” lstarted bullying my 2 younger siblings (only had 2 at the time)…I also was “older than the oldest girl”, so I had “southern birth order seniority”: whatever I said in our little cul-de-sic was LAW…lol…So I confronted the younger children for bullying my siblings, and they said they were gonna get their “Big Sister to beat me up” for chastising them VERBALLY …lo. When the little girl came, “words were said” and she ran home crying to tell her “liquor loving grandma” on me…But instead of going to my mom/aunts to “tell on me,” like adults were EXPECTED to do; this women threatened to physically hurt a 10 year…”Words were said again,” but this time in “Cursive”…l #FirstOldLadyIEverCursedOutandWasReadytoFight”…lol… #FirstTimeBeingHexedToo… #butidigress…lol. ***Woke-Op-Pol-lis “What Had Happened Was” Post…lol… #Downtown St. Paul, MN 5/8/24 10:39 am *** StoryTime:Soooo, it’s been about 14 years since my #EvilGeniusPapa made his transition, and #mylifehasneverbeenthesame…lol…Long story short; just as Ms. Whitney Elizabeth Houston’s Nieces/Nephews knew her ONLY as “Aunt Nippy”/Never attended industry events/her concerts; I was the same with my #biodaddy…lol…We bonded over music, and growing up I thought he used to “work security” at #PhillyConcerts because he seemed to know a lot about the artists we listened to/seemed very protective of them/was always teaching me lessons about self-preservation and defending myself against danger from ANYBODY: man, woman, or child…My dad’s only “Achilles Heel” was feeling OVERLY responsible for his siblings/their families to the detriment of his own happiness. Long story short, my father died estranged from me/broken-hearted due to mistreatment from those he gave his life for…smh…The “final insult” was the youngest sibling put my life/the life of my family in danger by publishing our names in his obituary…smh…My dad obviously was involved in a dangerous business AND was involved with the church of Scientology that believes in “Billion year soul contracts”/that they “own” the labor/offspring of even ex-members-especially if they think a child is a “chosen one”…. smh…On top of ALL THAT; apparently my dad left me as the sole heir to his estate; and that greedy relative stole it…Facebook was just becoming popular outside of college campuses; so I was horribly “trolled/trashed” online by childhood friends due to THAT RELATIVE’s lies…I even lost a relationship with one of my closest childhood friends because THAT RELATIVE wanted to steal my inheritance with #impunity…smh. Anyhoo, the “South Carolina Bebe’s kids” lstarted bullying my 2 younger siblings (only had 2 at the time)…I also was “older than the oldest girl”, so I had “southern birth order seniority”: whatever I said in our little cul-de-sic was LAW…lol…So I confronted the younger children for bullying my siblings, and they said they were gonna get their “Big Sister to beat me up” for chastising them VERBALLY …lo. When the little girl came, “words were said” and she ran home crying to tell her “liquor loving grandmother” on me…But instead of going to my mom/aunts to “tell on me,” like an adults was EXPECTED to do; this women threatened to physically hurt a 10 year…”Words were said again,” but this time in “Cursive”…lol… #FirstOldlasyIEverCuraedOutandwasReadytoFight”…lol… #FirstTimeBeingHexedToo… #butidigress…lol. Reposting this meme reminds me of the first few weeks of moving back to South Carolina when I was ten after my folks split…There were these “bebes kids before Bebes kids” that lived with their grandmother who terrorized the ENTIRE town my mom, my siblings and I moved back to it…It was hell moving “back home” because I was more “Philly than South Carolina, and I pretty much was “rejected” by both sides of my southern families …But, #dontcryformeArgentina… lol…Because what was an “insult” at the time that I was “Just like my mean ole daddy” from BOTH sides of my family became a “cherished truth” that has helped me survive “till this day”… #kismet…lol. Anyhoo, the “South Carolina Bebe’s kids” lstarted bullying my 2 younger siblings (only had 2 at the time)…I also was “older than the oldest girl”, so I had “southern birth order seniority”: whatever I said in our little cul-de-sic was LAW…lol…So I confronted the younger children for bullying my siblings, and they said they were gonna get their “Big Sister to beat me up” for chastising them VERBALLY …lo. I’d like to start sharing the journey of my thesis project as a part of my MA in Live Art & Performance Studies in Helsinki. I have been developing a performance series called ‘Dear Biodaddy,’ in which I am fumbling with my own techno-conception, which was achieved with artificial insemination and fertilisation in Iceland in 1996, using anonymous donor sperm from Denmark. Three weeks ago my biological father and I found each other through @ancestryca That statement alone just blows my mind. I had sent my DNA in a few years ago in search of blood relatives and my nationalities. He sent his DNA in recently and boom! We had a match! I took a chance and reached out. He had no idea I existed yet he fully accepted me as his daughter. This experience inspired the documentary. I had the pleasure of meeting my biological father for the first time on Wednesday. He is gentle and kind and he played his guitar and sang “You are my sunshine” to me in the park. It all feels like a dream. He agrees. He asked me “Is this butter or margarine?” meaning is this real? I know this will raise some hairs. I understand that everyone is concerned that their rights are supported. But here’s what I’ve learned throughout my life and from our personal journey. Respect comes through honesty and integrity. Relationships are built on mutual respect. When we respect the people we are in relationship with, we will want to support their rights. I mean, do you really want your child to get to know you outside of your family? Do you want to kickstart that relationship by showing up as a dishonest person with disregard to the family you love?
