Letting it simmer 💥🧨✨ I freestyle a lot of my first projects with almost no plan up front, cool detail ideas pop in my head as I start going, and I never really know what I’ll end up with. Backpacks were a great example of that, and I’m nowhere near done with the design on them. I freestyle’d that last chopped up long sleeve button down with no up front plan and it turned out great 💥🥷✨ This is my first duffel bag ever and it’s going to have detachable cross body bags that clip on & off with antique brass hardware. I’m going to make a complete strapped up outfit with interchangeable bags/straps for people to swap out with too many options to choose from in the future 👉🏽✨👈🏾 Since I’m just one dude everything moves like a snail, and the progress on the quality is all I’m really worried about at the moment anyways. Soon I’ll be back into contracting for the summer and will be focusing most of my time on that…… pshhh and the Apostle Islands fffffff ❤️ I made this first duffel out of crocodile stamped vinyl just to test things out. I have maybe eight hours into it so far with the pattern and cutting time included. Eventually I’m going to stay away from vinyl, I just don’t like it as a material, but it works great for imitating leather for testing things out. If random bags are going to take this long I’m not using anything but the best quality materials which is leather all day & night I just want to be a top notch pattern drafter/garment engineer…… building these fits from the ground up 🦾🦾🦾 I think I’m just straight up done with customs for a long long time after I wrap up these last few….. I want to be on an art wave like this from now on…. A highlight of my ‘70s childhood was when my Great Aunts would make their yearly road trip from the Bronx to our home in California, bringing all kids of excitement- I can still hear their laughter during late night cocktails with the neighbors (two pack a day Fran Drescher) and this particular event which took place during every visit, a neighborhood kid would be hired to wash their huge car. Teenage Anita was employed to do the job, probably to earn some cash for Loggins & Messina tickets 🎟️ The first photo is the negotiation of wages, how much buffing is she willing to do to hear ‘Your Mama Don’t Dance’ live? Second photo shows the gathering of family and neighbors to watch while I stroll down the driveway doing the funky chicken. Next up the sonnenkinder watch from the sideline. Dad makes an appearance to do his own chicken motions because we are literally the Bluths. And at last we make it to the inspection stage, by the look of Aunties face things don’t look too promising- Anita might earn enough to settle for Seals & Crofts. Mornings at my place are the best 🌟 I wake up almost everyday during the winter just to get creative 🦅 Having winters off of work really helped me step up my clothing game over the years 🤫 I couldn’t imagine having a real job, I couldn’t do it y’all, my winters off for the past 13 years are EVERYTHING. I’ve been putting in some serious work learning different backpack techniques over these past bunch of weeks and finally have a few different designs I can make many more of 🌪🌪🌪 Really just need more hardware to match some of them ⛓📿⚙️ I’ve been wanting to get some of these ideas out of my head for years and it’s wild to see them come to life……. 🚨MAJOR PROGRESS🚨 Turns out I can sew the leather just fine, just had to adjust the sewing pattern a bit more. This is only my third try on it and there’s very little adjustments to make before I can sell them. I got around 30 cowhides in California, some of them are halfsies, some are wholesies. 너무나 뒤늦게 올리는 #발렌타인데이 😄 미국은 역시나 발렌타인데이에도 진심이더라고요.🍫 반친구 전체에게 줄 카드와 기프트를 준비해야합니다. 음식은 알러지 이슈가 있어서인지 학교에서 작은 장난감이나 문구류만 준비하라고 하더라고요. 하늘별브로 각각 반 친구들이 31명, 총 62명 미니 장난감과 카드를 준비했죠. 빨간색이나 핑크 옷을 입고가야하는데 저희 애들은 없어서 암거나 입고갔어요. ㅋ 그래도 학교에서 선물 주고받고 간단한 게임도 해서 즐겁게 보냈어요~ 집에 와서 선물 뜯는 재미까지💝 연애때 이후로 챙긴적이 없는데 뜬금 귀가한 남편의 #튤립꽃다발 도 신선했네요.🌷 이 곳 아빠들이 다 사가니까 분위기에 휩쓸려 산 것 같지만🤣 1월 말부터 마트나 상점이 등 한동안 핑크빛으로 물들어있었어요.💘 감정이 메말라가는 저의 마음도 말랑말랑해지는 미쿡의 #valentinesday 였습니당.😍
