नगर पंचायत मनिहारी के सभागार में दो दिवसीय के गंगा दूत एवं गंगा प्रहरी प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम में सभी युवाओं को प्रशिक्षण देने के फलस्वरुप सभी को प्रमाण पत्र दिया गया । गंगा प्रहरियों की पहचान गंगा नदी और इसकी चुनिंदा सहायक नदियों के किनारे स्थित गांवों में आयोजित स्थल स्तरीय परामर्शी बैठकों और कार्यशालाओं की श्रृंखला के माध्यम से की गई है। उन प्रेरित व्यक्तियों की पहचान करने पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया है जो नदी संरक्षण प्रयासों में दूसरों को शामिल कर सकते हैं। राज्य वन विभाग, शैक्षणिक संस्थान, राष्ट्रीय कैडेट कोर (एनसीसी), राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना (एनएसएस) महिला मंगल दल, युवा मंगल दल, नेहरू युवा केंद्र और गंगा विचार मंच आदि जैसी अन्य एजेंसियों के माध्यम से भी स्थानीय समुदायों से संपर्क किया गया है। संभावित गंगा प्रहरियों की पहचान करें। पहचान का प्राथमिक मानदंड नदी की सेवा करने और स्वच्छता और जैव विविधता मूल्य के संदर्भ में इसकी अखंडता को बनाए रखने के लिए उनका जुनून और उत्साह है। परियोजना में शामिल होने की तिथि पर इन 'प्रहरियों' की आयु 18 वर्ष से अधिक होनी चाहिए और अधिमानतः नदी के किनारे के गांवों से होनी चाहिए। बाल गंगा प्रहरी कार्यक्रम के तहत 18 वर्ष से कम उम्र के बच्चों का नामांकन किया जाता है। #NamamiGangeProject #CleanGanga #gangadoot #gangaprahari

राष्ट्रीय स्वच्छ गंगा मिशन नई दिल्ली भारत सरकार एवं राज्य परियोजना प्रबंधन ग्रुप, नमामि गंगे उत्तराखंड के तत्वाधान में 16 से 31 मार्च तक आयोजित स्वच्छता पखवाड़े के अन्तर्गत आज दिनांक 31.03.2024 को प्राउड पहाड़ी संस्था, एन.एन.एस. के स्वयं-सेवकों एवं एन.सी.सी. के छात्र-छात्राओं के साथ मिलकर रिस्पना पुल के नीचे रिस्पना नदी पर वृहद स्तर पर स्वच्छता अभियान चलाया गया, स्वच्छता अभियान के दौरान लगभग 1500-2000 किलो कूड़े को एकत्रित करके नगर निगम द्वारा उचित निस्तारण किया गया। स्वच्छता कार्यक्रम में गंगा स्वच्छता हेतु गंगा शपथ एवं मतदान शपथ दिलाकर आम जनमानस को जागरूक किया गया, कार्यक्रम में लगभग 250-300 प्रतिभागियों द्वारा प्रतिभाग किया गया। #namamigange #cleanganga
