मंगलवार को हुई संसद बैठक में केंद्रीय कृषि मंत्री श्री नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर ने दालों की अधिक उपज देने वाली प्रजातियों की जानकारी दी। उन्होंने कहा कि भारतीय कृषि अनुसंधान परिषद (आईसीएआर) के तत्वावधान में राष्ट्रीय कृषि अनुसंधान प्रणाली (एनएआरएस) ने दालों सहित विभिन्न फसलों की क्षेत्र विशिष्ट, उच्च उपज देने वाली और जलवायु के अनुकूल किस्में विकसित की हैं। 2014 के बाद से, देश में 14 दलहनी फसलों की कुल 369 किस्में जारी और अधिसूचित की गई हैं, जिनमें सितंबर, 2023 तक बिहार के लिए सात दलहनी फसलों की 24 किस्में शामिल है, जैसे काबुली चना (6), मटर (6), अरहर (5), फैबाबीन (3) मूंग (2), उड़द (1) और मसूर (1)। उन्नत किस्मों के ब्रीडर बीज का उत्पादन और आपूर्ति। पिछले पांच वर्षों के दौरान, आईसीएआर द्वारा आधार और प्रमाणित बीज के डाउनस्ट्रीम गुणन के लिए विभिन्न सार्वजनिक और निजी क्षेत्र के बीज उत्पादक एजेंसियों को 15.60 लाख क्विं. दालों के ब्रीडर बीज का उत्पादन और आपूर्ति की गई थी। 2016 में ब्रीडर बीज उत्पादन बढ़ाने के लिए 150 दलहन बीज हब और 12 केंद्रों की स्थापना की गई, जिन्होंने 2016-17 से 2022-23 के दौरान 7.09 लाख गुणवत्ता वाले बीज और 21713 क्विंटल ब्रीडर बीज का उत्पादन और आपूर्ति की है। 6.39 लाख गांवों को मिलाकर कुल 1587.74 लाख क्विंटल गुणवत्ता वाले बीज का उत्पादन किया गया। ग्राम स्तर पर गुणवत्तापूर्ण बीज उपलब्ध कराने के लिए बीज ग्राम योजना के तहत 2014-23 के दौरान 98.07 लाख किसानों को प्रशिक्षण दिया गया। 2018-19 से 2022-23 के दौरान दालों के 6000 फ्रंट लाइन प्रदर्शनों और 151873 क्लस्टर फ्रंट लाइन प्रदर्शनों के माध्यम से नई उच्च उपज वाली किस्मों के बीजों का वितरण। . . #moong #urd #pea #arhar #nars #improvedvarieties #seeds #breederseed #icar #pulses #crops #agriculturenews #agriculture #khetikhabar #apnikhetii #Apnikhetiapp

मध्य प्रदेश सरकार ने राज्य में इज़राइल के सहयोग से सेंटर ऑफ एक्सीलेंस की स्थापना करने का निर्णय लिया है। मध्य प्रदेश में सेंटर ऑफ़ एक्सीलेंस की स्थापना हरदा जिले के बोड़गाँव में की जाएगी। इस सम्बंध में अधिक जानकारी देते हुए मध्यप्रदेश के किसान-कल्याण एवं कृषि विकास मंत्री श्री कमल पटेल ने कहा है कि फल एवं सब्जी उत्पादन के लिये इज़राइल की अत्याधुनिक उन्नत तकनीक का उपयोग किया जायेगा। इसके लिए सरकार ने बोड़गाँव में 35.341 हेक्टेयर भूमि आवंटित कर दी है।सेंटर ऑफ एक्सीलेंस की स्थापना के लिये इज़राइली दल द्वारा पूर्व में जिले का भ्रमण किया जा चुका है। इसकी स्थापना से कृषि एवं उद्यानिकी के क्षेत्र में जिले के किसानों को उन्नत एवं आधुनिक तकनीक से खेती करने की जानकारी सहज उपलब्ध हो सकेगी। मध्य प्रदेश में इज़राइल के सहयोग से छिंदवाड़ा एवं मुरैना जिले में सेंटर ऑफ एक्सीलेंस स्थापित किये गये हैं।मंत्री श्री पटेल ने भारत और इज़राइल की मित्रता के 30 वर्ष पूर्ण होने के उपलक्ष्य में हरदा में बन रहे सेंटर ऑफ एक्सीलेंस के लिये इज़राइल दूतावास के कृषि विशेषज्ञ, नीति सलाहकार का आभार माना। उन्होंने कहा कि सेंटर ऑफ एक्सीलेंस की अत्याधुनिक तकनीक की मदद से कृषि एवं उद्यानिकी विभाग के अधिकारी जिले के अधिक से अधिक किसानों को लाभान्वित करने में अपनी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका का निर्वहन करेंगे। . . #vegetablesproduction #fruits #israeltechnique #madhyapradesh #goi #kisankalyan #agricultureminister #centreofexcellence #improvedvarieties #apnikhetii #Apnikhetiapp

उत्तर प्रदेश के अपर मुख्य सचिव, चीनी उद्योग एवं गन्ना विकास विभाग, श्री संजय भूसरेड्डी ने बताया कि प्रदेश में नवीन किस्मों की सुलभ उपलब्धता हेतु किसानों के हितों को ध्यान में रखते हुए गन्ना किस्म को.शा. 13235 एवं को. 15023 के अभिजनक बीज गन्ने की निर्धारित दरों में कमी की गई है। अब यह गन्ना क़िस्में उत्तर प्रदेश गन्ना शोध परिषद शाहजहांपुर से सम्बंधित केंद्रों चीनी मिल फार्मों से मात्र 850 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल की दर से उपलब्ध हो सकेगी। नवीन गन्ना किस्म को.शा. 13235 की दर जो पहले 1.20 रुपए प्रति बड अथवा 1275 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल थी उसे अब कम करके 850 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल कर दिया गया है। इसी तरह को. 15023 की दर जो 1.60 रुपए प्रति बड अथवा 1700 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल थी उसे कम करके 850 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल कर दिया गया है। इस सम्बंध में सभी केद्रों को विस्तृत दिशा निर्देश भी जारी कर दिए गए हैं।अधिक जानकारी देते हुए गन्ना विकास विभाग के अपर मुख्य सचिव ने बताया कि उत्तर प्रदेश के कुछ क्षेत्रों में गेहूं की कटाई के बाद गन्ने की बुआई की जाती है।गन्ने की इन दोनो किस्मों में शीघ्र बढ़वार एवं अधिक उत्पादन की क्षमता है तथा ये दोनों क़िस्में देर बसंत की बुआई हेतु उत्तम पायी गई है। देर बसंत की बुआई करने वाले किसानों के हितों को देखते हुए निर्णय लिया गया है। . . #sugarcane #sugarcanevarieties #seeds #improvedvarieties #canefield #uttarpradesh #apnikhetii #Apnikhetiapp

Fatma has an interest in helping others through science. Originally she explored medicine as a career path before she was ultimately drawn to agriculture. As an Agricultural Research Officer at TARI, the Tanzania Agricultural Research Institute, she works on crops that are vital to Tanzania’s economy, but she is particularly proud of the newly released varieties of bananas. TARI has released four new banana varieties to support Tanzanian banana farmers. Fatma notes the importance of new East African highland banana varieties that are disease resistant and provide higher yields. The field of science is often seen as a male-dominated profession, but she hopes this will change with time. She has a dream to increase the number of women in science. When CGD arrived at the recently renovated TARI (the Tanzania Agricultural Research Institute) Tengeru lab outside of Arusha, Tanzania, Emmanuel Mlinga toured us around the facilitates. Emmanuel is a Lab Technician at TARI. He explained that TARI’s mandate covers the regulation, promotion, and coordination of many vegetables, fruits, spices, and herbs. He was particularly excited about the four new varieties of cooking banana TARI has released. He hopes farmers will benefit through the promotion and adoption of these new varieties, and it will improve the banana seed system in Tanzania. What is a cooking banana? We are glad you asked! Cooking bananas are not a sweet variety of bananas, such as the Cavendish variety that is found globally in grocery stores. Not to be confused with plantains, cooking bananas are sold while they are still green in color, and they are used as a starch, similar to a potato, roasted and cooked in savory dishes. Encroachment by Fulani grazers into Conservation areas，Farmlands and the environment，is one of the most serious conflicting issues causing impediment to conservation efforts，losses and destruction of farmlands accross the sub-sahran Africa. As conservationists，our aim is 'seeing to' a transformation that is beneficial to conservation， pastoralists， and native farming groups by improving local community development through increased agro-pastoral production and the realization of communal development projects in education and non-agro-pastoral economic activities. One of which is the establishment of grazing reserves，aimed at getting and protecting pasture-space for the national herds, and removing discord between agronomists and pastoralists living in the same geographic area as well as conservation areas.
