Desde 2019 está aprobada la moción en pleno presentada por el Grupo Municipal Socialista, en relación a la necesidad de habilitar una sala de estudio 24 horas, los 7 días de la semana, además de mejorar las condiciones de la que es ahora la única sala de estudio del municipio. Pero los totaneros y totaneras seguimos esperando. Actualmente sólo se encuentra una sala de estudio situada en el Centro Sociocultural “La Cárcel”, la cual cuenta con apenas 40 puestos de estudio, los cuales en épocas extraordinarias de exámenes, oposiciones, etc… se hacen más que insuficiente para la alta demanda que hay. Totana es un municipio con más de 30.000 habitantes, por lo que es totalmente incomprensible que en 40 puestos de estudio en una sala con un horario reducido, puedan estudiar todas las personas que lo deseen llegados periodos de exámenes. Además el horario del que se dispone es muy limitado, haciendo que los estudiantes se tengan que adaptar a los horarios en lugar de satisfacer las instalaciones públicas las necesitadas de los totaneros y totaneras. Desde Juventudes Socialistas exigimos que se dé cumplimiento de manera urgente al acuerdo de pleno de 2019 y que la sala de estudio 24 horas sea una realidad, ya que llevamos 5 años esperando algo que es un derecho, condiciones dignas para poder estudiar. En definitiva, el municipio de Totana merece que tanto sus estudiantes como toda persona que necesite un lugar adecuado para concentrarse, cuente con el espacio y las condiciones necesarias para la correcta formación educativa, sin necesidad de abandonar el municipio, saliendo a municipios vecinos para poder hacerlo en instalaciones públicas que si están adecuadas para las necesidades de los totaneras y totaneras, concluye Marianela Fernández, Secretaria General de JST #JST #JUVENTUD #TOTANEROS #ESTUDIO #JUVENTUDESSOCIALISTAS
