So extremely late update for me, this is a round up of last week. My OH was away, I was back to work after Easter, my son got sick, followed by my daughter so no school for them. I was working so swapped morning workouts for shorter evening workouts and then swapped rest days till he returned home and could ease the burden. I enjoyed the workouts in the evening after getting the kids to bed, being able to do things in my own time and have easy meals, it’s always a race between kids going to bed and getting dinner ready for me and the OH when his around. So my week looked like this. 15/04 BC A+C11 Dumbbell Strength WO + Abs WO 4 16/04 BC A+C11 Dumbbell Conditioning + 10 min Move WO 3 Int + Abs WO 5 17/04 BC 10 Minute Move WO 1 Adv + Abs WO 6 20/04 6.4 Mile Road Run 21/03 BC 10 Minute Move WO 2 Adv + 30 min Recovery Yoga Flow This 10 minute move advance are really tough, Joe really did ramp it up!! But they are great little ones to do when short on time and as an add on to shorter workouts. @bodycoachapp Adv C5 WO3 this morning. Not a massive calorie burner for a 40 minute workout but I did struggle with some of the weighted moves. Trying to not drop below 8kg and working towards upping the weights steadily. After hurting my back 2 years ago I dropped weights and never progressed them out of fear of doing it again. But I know I can lift heavier and I need to keep pushing to actually see progression. Intermediate. Cycle 3. Done. I restarted my journey in January of this year weighing the most Iv ever weighed. This time I was more determined than ever. Iv made it work for me more than I could imagine. Iv been kind to myself. Iv pushed myself hard and Iv enjoyed the things in life that conventionally you shouldn’t enjoy if you are trying to get fitter. Iv realised without that stuff non of this is worth it and thats the difference this time round. No beating myself up. No quitting and no questioning all my decisions. I stand here 25.2 llbs lighter than I started. More patient. More energised. More motivated than Iv ever been. Iv got a long way to go but Iv already come a bloody long way! She is a 104 year old woman from India… and when she was 101 years old … she won a 100m gold medal at the World Masters Games! 🙌 And that gold was just one of the dozen-plus others she earned over her short track & field career. 🤜🤛That’s pretty amazing for a couple reasons – and just one of them is that she didn’t start running until she was 93. Her son (who was in his 70’s) actually got her start working out at the track. 😲By the time she was 101, she was running 20km every day! That’s more than 12 miles. 🏆She holds several world records and also competes in other events such as shot put, javelin, and 60m and 200m sprint. 🏆 "I am running well, why should I stop?" she told an Indian newspaper. I was shy and quiet, an introvert. I cried a lot. I guess it was my form of communicating. After finally starting to speak, I vaguely recall going to see a speech pathologist. I’ve always said I was triple-compounded towards not speaking up. After all, I’m born Chinese, an introvert, and raised in Canada, where being polite is prized.
