The attitude is always gratitude! 50/46 was a special night! We did a small intimate gathering of close friends and family for our shared born day and wanted our friends to be celebrated as well. We gave them a very special feast of many of our (Johnnie & Clyde's) most popular food selections in a beautiful display that at the end came together with the help of many of our friends. This was a surprise 50th party for Obasi while I turned 46. And, as the time got closer to getting him to the venue, my body and brain shut down. I put it together in four days and had to hide from him while planning it all. My friends saw my cup empty and took my vision to the finish line in setting it all up for me!! This IS the spirit of UBUNTU! The biggest surprise of all...his sister flew into town and shocked both of us! We will never forget this year's celebration! What a wonderful night! Thank you to our village for your "presence" at our born day celebration! Thank you for your hands in helping. Thank you for getting babysitters and staying to celebrate another rotation of life for both of us. We love you BIG! We are born on the same day, March 10. We met on our born day. We married in Cape Town, South Africa at the breathtaking point where the Indian Ocean and Atlantic Ocean meet.
