Overwatch ultimates genji. After some much needed modification this figure is finally fun to pose. The back of the neck was cut to allow for some more range of motion, the ankles were cut and drilled into to add ball hinges for better articulation and the the cloth thing that is part of his head was cut off and glued to a ball hinge which was placed inside a hole that was drilled into the back of the head to give it a more dynamic look. Overall I think it came out pretty good. Wish I knew how to paint to give it a better look but I’m fine with the product as is. Picked this guy up recently on a Target trip and damn the Marvel Legends selection they had was dry af. Legit was either him, Spider Gwen (I’ll get her eventually) and White Wolf (I forgot their actual name, he’s that one pegwarmer in the Atuma wave). But hey I did get this guy, almost for $30 which yikes. I’m just happy this figure didn’t dissapoint tho. I would’ve liked him more if he was like $5 cheaper but this figure slaps, I really like it. I’m not too familiar with comic Yondu, I always think about the one from the movies. This is just such a drastic design than what I’m used to. If anything he reminds me of the reef leader guy from Way Of Water. I got him in a lot of cool poses, although I’m bad with archery posing so I couldn’t make that work sadly. I’m surprised he didn’t come with any interchangable hands. Don’t know what else he could do but still kinda surprised. He comes with an arrow to shoot, his bow and his backpack with more arrows. Also his fin comes seperately and I like the bend it has, in the words of Fwoosh, “it adds more personality”. Also speaking of Fwoosh, I was watching him review this guy and I agree with him that it is kinda funny how this dude is a whole ass alien yet the archer arm thingy seems universal and that’s why he has one. The figure itself also just looks great and I love the headsculpt. I don’t have any GOTG figures at all so I decided to compare him with Psycho Man and Quasar, two other celestial comic figures I own and yes I’m aware of how awkward Quasar looks but the feet on mine refuse to have him stand so he has to bend his knees. I’m giving Yondu a 7/10. NEW HAUL BOYS Most of them were online orders while the rest were from a quick trip to the mall. Firstly I got the Controller wave for sale at @nerdzoicc go check out his awesome store and here’s everyone from the wave (excluding US Agent since I already had one so I’ll just hold onto the extra for now). Not to get into too many spoilers since I’ll talk about this wave in the future but what an awesome wave this is, especially at this price since you can find most of these guys pegwarming Macy’s shelves and on Amazon as well, like I think Speedball was $8.99 at some point? Anyways here are the rest of the figures I got, most of them being other Marvel Legends, got a few Fortnite Victory Royale, two Lightning Collection figures and War for Cybertron Arcee. Honestly there’s not a single figure here I dislike or don’t care about, they’re all very cool, despite most of them being figures I wasn’t REALLY wanting (I mean I still wanted them but not as much as I was really looking forward to having J Jonah Jameson or the Mr. Negative and Inner Demon 2 pack. Or as I like to call him, Surgeon Unusual. God the images on the sides and back of the box are horrific. Anyways I feel like the only reason people would want this figure is for the cool ass effect piece he comes with. The figure itself is fine but I really only care about the portal. The portal is really cool and nicely sculpted. I do like the little bit of yellow on the bottom and it is a really neat idea for Hasbro to give us this although I wish it was a little bit bigger and I guess was more sturdy, like I felt it kinda wobble when you set it down. Defender Strange looks great I think. I think the face sculpt is really well done, I like the design and paint work, you get 2 pairs of interchangable hands (which is something, although I wish we got more like that effect piece I borrowed from the 10 years 3 pack Doctor Strange). I like how the robe stuff on the bottom don’t really get in the way of articulation and you can get him into some cool poses. He is from the Multiverse of Madness after all so I decided to go crazy with the first batch of comparisons with a bunch of other universes like Morphed Ranger Leonardo, Armada Starscream and Kylo Ren. There’s also him with the other Strange figure I have and the last batch is him with other characters from Phase 4 projects nobody looks back on fondly. Oh Eternals I’ll finish the wave soon… Also some other shots I got with the portal and some fun I had there. Anyways rating this set, I’d give Strange alone a 7/10 with the added portal bumping it up to a 7.5/10. Overwatch ultimates soldier 76. Pretty cool figure. Has some nice paint and sculpted detail and comes with a decent amount of accessories. The articulation isnt anything special but enough to get a few good poses. You can find him for $11 on eBay which is an adequate price for it imo. Right off the bat, I much prefer Narcos Colombia over this show. It’s really cool seeing the story of an empire rise and fall with the pieces splitting off to build their own cartels but me personally seeing a man in power slowly lose everything all after a mugshot taken with an enemy cartel now in the DEA’s radar is a more interesting story. This show is still really damn good, all the actors did an amazing job especially Diego Luna as Miguel Félix Gallardo. He’s phenomonal in the first two seasons of the show and it is interesting seeing him rise from nothing, uniting all the plazas while betraying everyone close to him, which results in his exclusion from the drug world and his arrest. Season 3 is by far probably the best season in this show. Chapo’s slow uprising is really interesting to see, especially in prison when Neto takes him under his wing. I also think the Arrelano Family was really cool and everyone there did a great job too, including Bad Bunny even if he has a stupid ass haircut in this show. Walt Breslin was made up for this show so I can commend him for being a well written character. I think Walt is incredibly interesting and I really liked his arc in the show and how you see how much drugs affected his life negatively after the death of his brother. Honestly I think Scoot gave a better performance than Pedro and Boyd (although they were fantastic as well). Also Michael Pena was great as Kiki and you really do feel his legacy live on as the show continues when justice is finally being brought against Félix. Also love how you don’t need to watch Narcos first and you can watch whatever you want, some things do get recapped here like the death of Escobar and Pacho’s visit to Mexico (which adds even more context since we now know Amado knew what was going to happen). Although tbh some of it does feel a tiny bit fan serviceish like when they brough Jorge Salcedo back for a few minutes. Review continued in comments

As well as the last episode of Hasbro Reveals Discussion since I’ll be extending it to beyond Hasbro products (since I know all action figure collectors collect from other companies and it would be weird just limiting it to one company) so why not report on reveals from all other action figure companies? Anyways, the Transformers Earth Spark figures look pretty neat, articulation looks lacking but it does seem to be more geared towards children so I can’t complain. The titan plane thingy whatever looks sick tho. Some Star Wars stuff, both figures look nice, especially the weird bike. As for Marvel Legends, there’s that Thor & Destroyer we saw in that stream before. I’m not digging the torso on Thor, it just doesn’t look like natural skin and it is a repaint mostly so kinda eh but the Destroyer looks awesome. The Sersi and Black Knight 2 pack also looks amazing so I’m hyped for that. FINALLY!!! AT LONG LAST I FOUND THE $13 ONE AT @rossdressforless (as well as that one Power Rangers 2 pack that was like $17 which I’ll review eventually). Shoutout to Ross fr, love picking up my Hasbro figures there. Maybe one day we’ll find a Haslab Galactus there for like $25. Anyways this guy is HUGE. I forgot to compare him with my Outback Hulk and Cull Obsidian but this guy is very big and hefy. He has some nice ratchet joints on his legs and I like the overall paint work. Leg articulation could’ve been better but this isn’t really a figurs you’d have a lot of dynamic poses with anyway so it’s all good. Arm and head articulation on point tho. He comes with interchangable hands and a jet pack with blast effects. I think I’ll mostly keep him in fists although the grab hands aren’t that bad and can have him hold tiny figures like Rocket, Howard the Duck or a 3.75 Marvel Legend. I really like the sculpt of the jetpack and it’s fun seeing him with it. I don’t have any other What If figures in my collection so here’s him compared to some other Disney+ figures in the wave as well as face off againts A.I.M. Scientist Supreme (who I’ll just name Dave from now on). Incredibly cool figure that I’m so happy I found at the wild in Ross after doing a bit of digging in the toy aisle but only real complaints I have are again some nitpicks with the leg articulation and the knees being a little too tight imo. Today’s haul! I picked up 10 figures today (well 11 since I got another Lady Jaye figure but I already own one so imma sell this one). I picked this guy up at @rossdressforless today for like $14 so for my fellow Ross shoppers, I’d recommend this absolute steal. Haven’t been lucky finding the $13.99 Hydra Stomper at any of my local Ross although luckily I did find that Lightning Collection 2 pack and now this set. Anyways, this is a really cool set, I’m surprised nobody wants it. In general it seems the Victory Royale series isn’t doing so great, which is sad cuz I don’t want them to pull the plug like with Overwatch Ultimates since I do love the Hasbro Fortnite figures but nobody really likes this line and Jazwares seems to be dominating with their Fortnite line (I don’t like the Legendary series tbh, weird articulation). I’d love to one day see Calamity or even some other collab skins since Hasbro already has the Marvel Legends license, we could see that happening one day. Ok onto the figure for real. I really like this Meowscles, pretty big figure, well not that big but still chunkier than your average 6’ figure. I think the articulation on mine is great except the ankles, they’re pretty weird. Also I wish the head could look up more but otherwise I dig the articulation and just the overall look of this evil bodybuilder cat. This guy comes with a ton of accessories including the benchpress, two handguns, two knives, a rifle, a dumbbell, a backbling and interchangable hands. My rifle came in warped sadly but still really neat. My fav are the two handguns he comes with and he does have weapon storage. Backbling is alr but I think I’ll mostly leave it off. And the benchpress is very cool, especially with that big ass dumbbell you get to have him lift. Comparison shots, here’s Shadow Meowscles with Lynx and this alien guy who’s name I forgot and these are the only series figures I own and so far Meowscles is the best. So despite Victory Royale’s lack of success, they have made a banger figure with this one and I do plan on getting some other sets they’ve made like the dude with the charriot and the shark, as well as the arcade machines and hoverboard. Meowscles is getting an 8.5/10, I really enjoyed myself with this figure and this would go great with a gym diorama.

Some new reveals I wanna talk about. Ooh new Lightning Collection stuff. We’re getting a couple of new rangers which look awesome and another Rita which is nice for those who missed out on the first two pack. We’re also getting some weird deer guy but I really like the design. Also more Cobra Kai crossover toys which actually look really nice. Marvel Legends stuff we’ve seen in the fanstream before. We’re getting the Super Adaptoid which is interesting since it’ll be a 12 inch figure although it’s mostly gonna be reuse of the 12 inch Captain America which apparently nobody wanted so I can only imagine the success of this… It looks awesome but for $70? Come on man. The MJ and Green Goblin 2 pack looks epic tho. I love the Green Goblim from what we’ve seen in promo shots and I really want this 2 pack, so far all the Spider-Man VHS 2 packs have been awesome from what I’ve seen. We’re getting a new Optimus sorta, idk the lore but it does look cool, especially with the gold. And last but not least stom Star Wars stuff, we’re getting Darth Maul, some android, same android but Vintage and Vintage Boba. Seems we’re in another case of dumb character, good figure. I surprisingly had quite a lot of fun with this guy, sure the robe does kind of get in the way of articulation and the headsculpt does look more like Sebastian Stan but he’s still pretty fun to pose and it was cool sort of recreating that scene with him killing Ajak. I do have some other complaints however. So he is the solo figure in this wave so despite being the main character of the movie (well he and Sersi equally) so you could skip him and it wouldn’t affect the Gilgamesh build. Still though, I just wish he had a little more accessories. I don’t like these weird rizz up hands he has, yeah it’s cool not only getting fists but they could have been flight hands. I really like the alternate head with glowing eyes but I do wish he came with laser effect pieces that you can stick in there, similar to the retro Cyclops figure but that’s just a suggestion from me. Some other comparison shots with other Eternals figures I have (I was too lazy to fish out Phastos, Makkari and Sprite). Ikaris is so far is probably the best figure in this wave, he’s just a fun figure and even if you hated Eternals, I’d still say you’d probably tolerate this guy since he has decent posability and articulation. Some reveals I forgot to cover: The new Power Rangers figures look really nice, I think the head sculpts look really nice and I’m loving the overall designs. Also there’s a gold Megazord which seems to be a repaint of the past one we got, this time without an NFT, whatever that was about, I don’t really get into drama in the action figure community but the Megazord looks really cool. Rhinox and Scorponok are getting repaints in a 2 pack and I think they both look great, the orange does pop out on Rhinox more on robot mode but not really on rhino mode. I don’t like how expensive it is but it’ll probably go on clearence soon since apparently these are the two worst figures in the line, even tho I have normal Rhinox and I think he’s great. There’s also this bat thing which looks awesome. Marvel Legends Skull 2 pack looks amazing, even if it’s just repaints but I really like how you still get a Spider-Woman head sculpt in case you missed out. I don’t like how they didn’t update her body and how this 2 pack is also expensive but it’ll go on clearence soon I bet. And then we have the Star Wars figures. Marvel Legends Ajak review: I’m trying something new with the covers of these reviews. Anyways here’s a review on Ajak, a character from everyone’s favorite Marvel movie Eternals… Ok quick little rant, in my personal opinion I don’t think Eternals was THAT bad. At best it’s painfully mediocre and has some very not good writing as well as these “heroes” only being allowed to show up when the entire planet is at stake yet they do nothing when Thanos was here? Idk the movie was dumb, it did poorly and got trashed by audiences and critics and because of that, the Eternals wave from Marvel Legends also didn’t do well and you can get everyone in that wave for under $60. I got Ajak here from Book Off for like $12 I think. So the movie was beyond mid but how are the figures? I’m only missing Thena and Sersi but everyone else I have are fine for the most part, there’s only 2 I dislike. Ajak is fine. Could be better but she’s not terrible. I think both the headsculpts resemble Salma Hayek a bit and I’m glad she does come with accessories. I really like the blue and gold on her. Single jointed elbows do suck tho and I’m not feeling the articulation too much ngl. It’s not bad but idk. I don’t have much else to say, she’s just a decent figure, idk why she’s not apart of the wave and just sold seperately, like Thena I can understand since she has multiple accessories last I checked but solo Ajak here? I’m not gonna be getting some figures for a while since I’m going to college in about 3 months (well I applied for Fall semester but imma take Summer classes too). Anyways here’s the long haul I got over the last few weeks excluding Hot Rod cuz I already reviewed him lol. Anyways yes as you can see most of them are Marvel Legends, one Transformers figure and one of the Power Rangers and TMNT collab two packs. I’m usually very surprised whenever I open a figure from the packaging since most of the time I like them a lot more having them in my hands than I thought I would originally and lots of that happened with these guys. Narcos review: This one will be super short since 1. this show is already heavily praised so nothing much else to add and 2. I’m minutes from seeing the Mario movie. This is by far my fav Netflix original. Everything about it is amazing, especially season 2 which is my fav season of this show. I think the acting is also very good, especially from Wagner Moura. This interpretation of Escobar is terrifying and unpredictable while also having his charm. And his downfall, damn. By the end you see a fat old man who’s lost everything and realize there’s really nothing to fear. Season 3 I felt was a tiny bit boring compared to the rest of the show but it really picks up by the end with Miguel’s arrest, Pollamari’s rescue and the fates of the Cali Godfathers. This show is just fantastic and I love it. One compliment/criticism I have is I like how it does show real life footage from the events happening. I like it since it does remind the viewer that these events were real. However it can sometimes be distracting since the actors don’t often look like the people, like Wagner Moura’s cacial structure, Steve Murphy not having glasses (at least later on), Ivan the Terrible’s lack of mustache. Like it’s not that big a criticism but just something I wanted to bring up. Although I do love the storytelling they did and even the foreshadowing with Pablo’s mugshot which kickstarts his eventual downfall. Overall an amazing show that I’d rate a 9.5/10, please go watch it if you haven’t. Biographies or movies/shows recreating history are hit or miss but I can assure this one is very well produced and stays respectful to the victims at least imo. I’m def skipping the helmet, it’s cool but I don’t really care for the display helmets and trinkets unless it’s really cool like the Marvel Legends Infinity Gauntlet (or just comes with a figure like Tesseract Loki or Tesseract Red Skull). The figures look really nice. I think Cad Bane looks awesome and I like the 3 pack with the holograms, they look very ghostly like with that cloth and I love it. Ok time to get caught up with these Hasbro reviews: So since Star Wars Celebration is happening, it only makes sense for them to unveil some more Indiana Jones figures since Lucasfilms, which btw I just found out that the Black Series team also makes the Adventures Series toys. I connected the dots and was like damn, no wonder why the articulation looks kinda eh. Anyways we have a deluxe set, a two pack and another wave with a new artifact BAF, this time being from Temple of Doom, I forgot what it’s called, I’ve watched these movies a long time ago but I like it for the most part, can be used in Pirate displays. I don’t like the little flame accessories tho, they look like baby carrots. The figures themselves look really nice. The most interesting are Short Round because Short Round and also shirtless Indiana, because mmmm oh yeah shirtless Harrison. Jk but seeing it has butterfly joints it does it make it stand out. Everyone else looks pretty nice, also the deluxe set reuses the same Indiana Jones from wave 1 so just to keep in mind. Two pack also looks nice.
