Tonight, renowned Liszt interpreter Benjamin Grosvenor kicks-off his latest month-long tour of North America with a return to the National Symphony, Washington. He will perform Liszt’s sparkling Piano Concerto No. 1 on three consecutive nights (9, 10, 11), collaborating with conductor Anja Bihlmaier for the first time. Next week Benjamin travels to work with the Indianapolis Symphony in the same concerto with Kazem Abdullah (17, 18). After recitals in Miami and Schenectady featuring both Liszt and Chopin’s B minor sonatas, he ends his visit with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. O ile ma się zrobioną olimpiadę 😉😎 To była moja strategia, dzięki której poza indeksem zyskałam czas.. na pracę 😉 🎹 2010 był rokiem Chopina, więc z matury z WOSu musiałam wyjść wcześniej, by zdążyć poprowadzić koncert chopinowski. 🙈 Na niemiecki poszłam po pokoncertowej, nocnej imprezce, obiecując jednak Mamie, że zdam na 99% i dokładnie tak było. 💪 Świadectwa też nie odebrałam, bo pojechaliśmy gdzieś w Polskę z Fryckiem. 😂 To był prześmieszny czas, taki też projekt i ludzie. 🎻 Preview 다양한 매력을 지닌 카멜레온처럼 바이올리니스트 김은지 예원을 거쳐 서울예고에서 3년간 실기 우수상과 공로상을 받으며 졸업한 뒤 서울대 음대를 우등 졸업한 김은지는 끝없는 성장에 성장을 거듭한 연주자다. 이후 미국 인디애나 음악대학에 입학해 Jacobs Fellow Award 전액 장학금을 받으며 석사과정을 마쳤고, 2020년 귀국과 동시에 진학한 서울대 음대에서 박사과정을 수료하며 전문연주자로서의 발판을 다졌다. 또한 국내외 활발한 솔리스트 활동뿐만 아니라 서울예고 정기연주회 오케스트라, 서울대학교 심포니 오케스트라, 인디애나 대학교 오케스트라 악장으로 활약해 리더십을 길렀으며 이후에도 사라소타 뮤직 페스티벌 오케스트라 악장, 오케스트라 앙상블 서울(OES) 객원악장, 오케스트라 디 오리지널 객원악장으로 연주했고, 현재 분당 챔버 오케스트라 악장으로 자리하고 있다. 이처럼 풍부한 경험을 토대로 쌓아 올린 김은지만의 깊이 있는 음악적 해석은 ‘바이올리니스트 김은지 귀국 바이올린 독주회’에서 만나볼 수 있다. “이번 공연 테마를 한마디로 요약한다면 ‘다양성과 양면성’이라고 할 수 있습니다. 우선 프로그램을 다양한 시대의 곡들로 구성했는데요. 각 곡의 악장마다 큰 반전이 있고 대비가 뚜렷하게 드러나는 곡들이라는 공통점이 있습니다. 그만큼 제가 가진 다양한 색채로 각 작곡가의 양면성을 보여드리려고 합니다.” 글 최윤영 @lena.choi_ 김은지 귀국 바이올린 독주회 5월 12일 14시 예술의전당 리사이틀홀 힌데미트 소나타 E♭장조 1번 Op. 11, 포레 소나타 1번 A장조 Op. 13 외 #다양성과양면성 #새로운시작 시작 #조화
🎻 Preview 함께 나누는 음악의 기쁨 바이올리니스트 이성주 이성주에게 앙상블은 특별한 장르이다. 솔리스트로서의 활동을 왕성하게 할 과거부터 그녀는 피아노 트리오와 현악 사중주 팀을 구성해서 활발히 연주를 이어나갔다. 이번에 연주 할 드보르자크의 현악 사중주 12번 ‘아메리카’는 이성주가 귀국 후 서울 스트링 콰르텟 멤버로 활동을 시작하며 연주했던 작품으로, 이 곡을 통해 당시의 이성주를 회상해보고자 한다. 바이올리니스트 백건, 비올리스트 김상진, 이상민, 첼리스트 이호정, 이상은 등 이성주와 함께 하는 ‘프렌즈’들 역시 특별한 의미가 담겼다. “오랫동안 저와 자주 연주했던 베테랑들과 더불어 젊은 연주자들과 함께 앙상블을 구성했습니다. 앙상블 파트너로서 오랜시간 같이 연주했던 이들과는 편안한 연주를 할 수 있다는 장점이 있고, 이런 저희의 노하우를 젊은 연주자들과도 나누어야 한다는 생각으로 이번 앙상블을 구성하게 됐어요.” 드보르자크 서거 120주년 기념 이성주와 프렌즈 5월 11일 20시 예술의전당 IBK챔버홀 드보르자크 2대의 바이올린과 비올라를 위한 4개의 소품들, Op.75a, 현악 사중주 12번 F장조, Op.96 ‘아메리카’
