This was one of the earliest pieces I did in the Likely Stories series, which led to the most recent Toss and Turn series. It was inspired by a twisty balloon my daughter serendipitously brought home from a carnival. The balloon in the image is pregnant with a tiny balloon inside. A twisty balloon threatened dog species holds its breath rising over the heat of the Earth.
