One of my favourite things on the trip was encountering animals in the wild . We were lucky to see whales , a Dugong , emus , a buffalo, dingos , brumbies , a papilio Ulysses (bright blue butterfly), dolphins, Roos big and small, lots of tropical fish, salt and fresh water crocs, lots of amazing bird life and 4 close encounters with snakes + many more on the road.
