There is a big difference between aloneness and being lonely. When we embrace our aloneness, we find true connection. As a child, I felt so out of place. I was a misfit. I was bullied and alienated and spent many days alone, wishing I fit in. The aloneness I felt didn’t pass with time. If anything, I found myself more and more alone. I often heard the words: it’s a lonely path for the spiritual soul. While I may have wished I had more kindred souls around me, the truth is, I didn’t feel lonely. I felt whole in myself. I knew myself. I loved myself with deep connection and self-aware presence. And profound union with everything around me. Reflecting on this interesting paradox, I came to 3 deep truths: 1. We are all alone. We are our own beings - no other can ever know us wholly, or share in the experiences we have. 2. We are surrounded by creation in every direction. The trees, the birds, the insects, the rocks, the stars, the sky - these are my companions. 3. HOW IT ALL STARTED… 👋🏼 Hey Everyone, my name is Katie Elder. I’m currently in a Life Coaching training program through @boldleadercollective and I’ll be officially certified by September! . . . Five months ago my life radically changed when I had a divine appointment at the Pickleball courts with my now friend, Nora. She asked me what my dream was, and I said to become a Life Coach. She then told me how she started a business many years ago doing that very thing, sold it a couple years ago to Christine & would love to talk more about it. Come to find out, Christine was getting ready to start a training program to equip people to become Life Coaches through the coursework that Nora created and Christine purchased. After connecting with Christine and hearing more, I slept on it, woke up with a peace that surpasses understanding, and put in my two weeks notice at my job. I wanted to give this my full attention and knew I needed to transition to part-time work, which wasn’t available where I was working at the time. Immediately following this decision, which was a leap of faith, God moved mountains on my behalf and positioned me to be set up to enjoy and establish the life I’ve been longing to create. He exceeded my desires for this season of my life and every day I wake up in gratitude at His faithfulness and provision in my life. . . . So how did “Liberating You” come about? Well, it came naturally one morning when I was spending time with God, and right away I wrote it down in my journal as well as the tagline “freedom for you to be fully you & let others do the same!” This is ultimately what I’ve received for myself and seen how it’s impacted my ability to release myself from expecting anything less than others, too. We were all created uniquely, and it’s my heart and desire to see people discover and connect with their authentic self, discover what matters most to them, and pursue it.
