This was possibly the most difficult room in the house- it was an awkward shape, very dark with no windows and, as you can see, pretty grotty. To get some daylight into the room with added a window to the door, knocked a hole in the side wall to create an internal window (you can’t see the window here but you can see the light coming in to the left of the loo) and added a skylight above the door. Plenty of mirrors helped to reflect more light again and the cutest little sink helped to maximise available space. Hello , I know it’s been a while since I last posted , but as you probably surmised from my last one I’ve not been very well. One thing I have been determined to do was finally finish our interior renovation. It might be the teeniest bedroom but we’ve managed to make it a double and by pinching some redundant space above the stairwell my husband was able to add some storage and a wardrobe . As it’s a dormer we have added some interest to the ceiling with cladding and beams . It might be tiny but it’s cosy and now guest ready. Best of all the house is finally finished and even taking a back seat which I found really hard I think we did ok .
