6 weeks ago today I got the keys to The Shed @lamaison_bourne_end It took the whole of April to get it set up but I’m so happy to be selling my bits and bobs in such a beautiful setting in such a beautiful village - Bourne End. I started buying and selling when I was 10 years old, only dealing in what I knew… Scalextrics Sets and Cars and Fishing Rods, Reels and Tackle. I then started my other business @beeuneeq in 1999 aged 19 and had a design studio in London for 15 yrs but always loved old things and that patina. I like my typefaces/fonts so everything is lettering/sign writing related as well as the rusty Gardenware, vintage Tools, Automobilia and Americana. He single handedly transformed it from a dry cleaners to an antique furniture showroom; KEITH FINCH ANTIQUES Since 1991 it’s changed hands from BRORA, to DECLEOR @decleorparis and recently to ONDA @ondabeauty This was his third shop after starting on the stalls at Portobello Market. Just an update from me as I haven’t posted in a while… As well as the home shop in Maidenhead, and some storage containers in Bucks we also have three market stalls at the @macclesfieldindoormarket… These are run by my good friend and fellow vintage tool dealer Brian from @modernwoolfare Brian is a retired veteran and talented tailor who makes bespoke woollen outdoor clothing as well as bringing old tools, axes and hatchets back to life. Most of my tools inventory is now here so if anyone is based up north or is passing by, please do drop in.
