Lived in Perth for 15 years, and never knew this place existed..... we had breaky at @riversideatwoodbridge and got the best view in the place, overlooking the swan river and @riverbankestate winery Breakfast was amazing and the view 👌🏻 Woodbridge house and it’s grounds are a national trust property. The actual house is currently closed for renovations but after a quick google search we found the history of the site. Parliament hold art tours on the first Friday of each month at 3pm. Tours are delivered by @artgallerywa guides who have intimate knowledge on the works displayed throughout Parliament House. Within the collection is a painting by Owen Garde titled 'An Early Meeting of the Legislative Council' (background). Our work 'Shield of Voices' (foreground) is perfectly sited amongst the pioneering men in Garde's painting and the portraits of the "first women" in the adjacent hall. The entire collection reflects on, and gives a rich understanding of what it is to be Western Australian.
