Did you know that this car has traveled half the globe since delivery?🌎 Chassis 7066 was originally delivered to the UAE but made its way to the United States after being offered for sale with Al Ain Class in Dubai. There, it was offered for sale by Manhattan Motorcars in 2016, however without success. It also remained unsold at the Bonhams Scottsdale auction in 2020 with the highest bid reaching US$850,000. The car was then offered for sale again by Manhattan Motorcars and found a new owner in New Jersey in late 2021. In the hands of the enthusiastic new owner, the car participated in several high profile events including Monterey Car Week and Hypercar Invitational. In July 2023, this CCX was sold to a new owner! This car shown here is a ‘Lava Orange’ 2007 Koenigsegg CCX (7036), and this particular CCX example was seen on display during the 2007 Geneva Motor Show. With only approximately 30 examples built for the entire world, the CCX (Competition Coupé X) is effortlessly exclusive and unique. The ‘X’ is Roman numeral for ten, celebrating the test drive and completion of the company’s first CC prototype back in 1996. Some nostalgic early memories of the CCX model in particular spring from the 2007 American racing action-thriller, ‘Redline’, where American actress, singer, and model, Nadia Bjorlin is seen driving a yellow CCX. The CCX was revealed at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show, featuring body modifications differing from the previous generation cars (the CCR), mostly in order to meet standards and regulations in order to be sold into United States. The CCX production numbers break down to: 30 CCXs, 9 CCXRs, 6 CCX/CCXR Editions, 2 CCXR Special Editions and 2 CCXR Trevitas. In 2005 the CCX achieved the unimaginable by surpassing the iconic McLaren F1’s 231 mph top speed record with a speed of 241 mph at the seven-mile Nardo test track in Italy. This particular example, chassis number 036 is a bespoke, custom-ordered version with specially made features such as a reworked front bumper, an enhanced engine tuned to 860hp, and much more. This was the first CCX to be finished in ‘Lava Orange’, and currently, this example is believed to be residing in Japan. Founder of Koenigsegg, automotive engineer and entrepreneur, Christian Von Koenigsegg’s CCX model was designed with the help of both David Crafoord and Sven-Harry Åkesson, and one common theme which can be found is the use of carbon fiber. The entire body of the CCX is made using carbon fiber materials, as well as the wheels, dashboard inserts, seats, steering wheel, and a wide variety of other elements as well. • How many made? Vandaag gaan we weer even terug in de tijd. De CC8S is de 1e productie auto vanuit Ängelholm. Dit is de 5e CC8S die is geleverd. Deze is nieuw geleverd in 2003 aan de bekende Engelse verzamelaar Peter Saywell. De eerste 10 jaar heeft de auto bij verschillende eigenaren in het Verenigd Koninkrijk gespendeerd, voornamelijk Engeland en Schotland, voordat de auto in 2013 werd teruggekocht door Koenigsegg zelf. in 2014 werd de auto verkocht aan de Deense verzamelaar Jorgen Strøjer en staat sindsdien in de Strøjer collectie. De auto heeft een prachtige donkerblauwe kleur, "Blue Scuro" wat in bepaald licht paars lijkt, gecombineerd met een Oatmeal leder en Alcantara interieur. Ook is dit de enige CC8S die is uitgevoerd met een 2 vinnen achterop. Say hello to the ex-Korean Koenigsegg CCR! Chassis 7025 was first seen at the factory in February 2006. It was spotted in South Korea a few times in 2007 but it was not until May 2008 that it was shown to a bigger audience at the F1 & Supercar Show. It participated in the 2008 Babodream, which seems to be the Korean equivalent of the Gumball 3000 and was also featured in many of their YouTube videos. It was offered for sale at Sonic Motors, the Koenigsegg representative for Korea, in 2009 and after failing to sell was stowed away in 2011 in a warehouse together with chassis 7022 and other exotics, which were auctioned in 2021. The exact circumstances are unknown but according to rumors the cars were seized due to fraudulent activities of the owner(s). The CCR was spotted with a satin black partial wrap after the auction in 2022 but once again disappeared, this time for almost two years. Now it has resurfaced in Germany, being offered for sale at @amiancollectioncars_official in Kerpen! It is listed under POA with two previous owners, 4.934 km on the odometer. Zo, we zijn er weer, na een welverdiend weekendje rust! Hopelijk hebben jullie een goed weekend gehad!? Ik, @justawheelchairguy ben zaterdag naar Interclassics Maastricht geweest. Prachtige klassieker-beurs, voor elk wat wils. Van bekende klassiekers, restomods, naar de ultieme jongensdroom en van weleer zoals de Miura en de 250 GTO, je kon het zo gek niet bedenken of het stond er wel. Zelfs onze vrienden van Esser waren er! Zij hadden een Huracan STO meegenomen, en aangezien het thema "120 years of Ford Performance" was, hadden ze ook een Ford GT 2017 Carbon Edition bij zich. Maar...geen Koenigsegg! Als je het mij vraagt, behoort de CC8S toch inmiddels wel tot de klassiekers/oldtimers/youngtimers want met zijn introductie in 2002 is de CC8S alweer 22 jaar oud! De eerste Prototypes dateren van 1996! Er stonden auto's die jonger waren..Daarnaast kreeg de motor van de CC8S ook nog eens de titel "world’s most powerful engine in a series produced car by Guinness World Records". Wat denken jullie? Dit is de allereerste CC8S, VIN #7001! Hij debuteerde op de Autosalon van Genève in maart 2002 en zou zijn afgeleverd aan een klant. Dit is wel erg onzeker, aangezien de auto altijd bij Koenigsegg is gebleven en werd gebruikt als fabrieksontwikkelingsauto. Hij begon zijn leven als CC8S, maar kreeg talloze upgrades en wordt nu beschouwd als een CCR. Deze Koenigsegg werd gebruikt om het 7 jaar oude McLaren F1 snelheidsrecord te verbreken op het circuit van Nardo, Italië. Om die reden werd hij zowel in de motorruimte als in de cabine voorzien van een rolkooi, racestoel, 4-puntsveiligheidsgordel en een brandbeveiligingssysteem. Deze CC8S is momenteel rood gespoten. Het uiterlijk van deze auto is in de loop der jaren echter meerdere keren veranderd, gezien zijn functie als ontwikkelingsauto. In de vroege fase van zijn leven had hij een zwarte spoiler uit één stuk, die later werd verwijderd. This car is one of the least seen Koenigseggs ever made and the CCX(R) for which we had the least pictures - until now. It is believed to have been delivered to a customer in Nevada or Northern California in December 2008. It has been registered in Nevada since 2009 and receives service in California, yet spots of it were exceedingly rare. Its only notable "recent" public appearance was August 2015 in Monterey, California during Car Week. After that, it had not been seen publicly in the last eight years. Strangely, for a car that is rarely seen, the mileage is surprisingly high. In 2016, it had nearly 7000 miles on the odometer. In November 2021, the car appeared at the Koenigsegg factory, likely undergoing some sort of maintenance. After fifteen years with its first owner, the car has surfaced in Miami through Curated. It is one of the most desirable CCXR examples in the world with an extremely classy spec complete with telephone dial wheels as well as a manual transmission. As of November 2023, the car has 8,400 miles on the odometer, likely having completed most of them in lone night drives on empty roads - true to the Ghost Squadron ethos. This is a stunning 2022 Koenigsegg Jesko Attack Pre-Production car (chassis 7512) finished in a color known as ‘Imperial Blue’ over a Anthracite Alcantara interior with Blueberry Drift Stitching. The Koenigsegg Jesko is a limited production mid-engine sports car currently being produced by Swedish automobile manufacturer Koenigsegg. The Jesko was first Introduced at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, succeeding the company’s Agera model. The name Jesko is a tribute to the company founder's father, Jesko von Koenigsegg, and underneath the hood lies a 5.1 L (5,065.48 cc; 309.1 cu in) twin-turbocharged V8 engine that when running on E85 fuel, can produce 1603 horsepower. Alongside the track-focused ‘Attack’ Jesko model is another variant known as the ‘Absolut’. This sleeker, more streamlined variant is a top speed version of the Koenigsegg Jesko which comes without the large wing, and wheel cover caps reducing the amount of air that travels between the wheel spokes. Interestingly enough, 125 total Jesko models are all that will be produced, however, the customer will get the option to choose between the track focused or the top speed version. The Jesko model was designed by Koenigsegg founder, automotive engineer and entrepreneur, Christian Von Koenigsegg alongside industrial designer, Joachim Nordwall. Notably, both variations of the Jesko utilize a unique gearbox system which is an in-house developed 9-speed multi-clutch transmission which is called the ‘Light Speed Transmission (LST)’. The transmission is controlled by an onboard computer which allows the system to gather road speed and engine data in order to correctly decipher which gear it should be in. Chassis 7512 is believed to have started its life originally as an ‘Absolut’ and has since been re-specced to become an ‘Attack’.
