Let’s talk a bit about what it took to make this beautiful blue truck! After extensive research on the best vendor, we brought on production designer @jamesbartol to put the visuals to life and get final client sign off. The truck was painted in the appropriate blue pantone, vinyls were added for permanent signs and we developed magnetic signs that would move with every location. The catch? It was a really hot day on a metal truck, and I have to say that by the end of that day, the signs were almost melting with the heat. So our PD solved that issue with some brilliant tape work. Our 40’ costume trailer is frequently rented for large commercials in addition to film projects. With large hydraulic lift gate for easy loading, 8’x8’ office, washer/dryer, and 96 feet of lockdown rack it makes a great addition to your basecamp. Sometimes a motorhome is too cramped, a box truck isn’t enough, and a 53’ trailer isn’t nimble enough. Park this outside a studio, out in the wild, or in town. We recently painted the exterior and made some modifications to the interior based off costume department feedback to get this ready to go for 2024!!! Heated tents!!! We’ve been heating large spaces in the middle of nowhere for many years now. We’re good at it, we have all the supplies and we know what to bring. Whether you need tents for car prep, video village, dining room, or HMU / wardrobe space, we can make it as large or small as you need and as warm as 70 degrees. It is not expensive or a challenge to create these warm spaces, you just need to plan ahead or let us consult about the production supply order. It helps, but isn’t required, if you hire our full-time PAs who work with this equipment every day and know the ins and outs. Not everyone has the budget for trailers or a motorhome but it’s still possible to keep your people warm. Dear #SagAftraMembers: We are thrilled and proud to tell you that today your TV/Theatrical Negotiating Committee voted unanimously to approve a tentative agreement with the AMPTP. As of 12:01am PT on November 9, our strike is officially suspended and all picket locations are closed. We will be in touch in the coming days with information about celebration gatherings around the country. In a contract valued at over one billion dollars, we have achieved a deal of extraordinary scope that includes "above-pattern" minimum compensation increases, unprecedented provisions for consent and compensation that will protect members from the threat of AI, and for the first time establishes a streaming participation bonus. Our Pension & Health caps have been substantially raised, which will bring much needed value to our plans. In addition, the deal includes numerous improvements for multiple categories including outsize compensation increases for background performers, and critical contract provisions protecting diverse communities. We have arrived at a contract that will enable SAG-AFTRA members from every category to build sustainable careers. Many thousands of performers now and into the future will benefit from this work. Full details of the agreement will not be provided until the tentative agreement is reviewed by the SAG-AFTRA National Board. We also thank our union siblings -- the workers that power this industry -- for the sacrifices they have made while supporting our strike and that of the Writers Guild of America.
