MR KRAB LOBSTER DUNKS!!! 🦀 I thought of this idea because of the name, actually. I have always loved and wanted the Lobster Dunks. So I thought it would be dope to make a ‘Mr. Krabs Dunk’ But the original sketch didn’t have the lobster claw on the swoosh. After getting a sewing machine, I have been thinking how I can elevate my customs. I went through my designs and knew I needed to get these made. I wanted to keep the theme with the Lobster Dunks so I knew I wanted to keep the color theme similar and simple. Keep the midsole black, the tongue tag and laces white, and make a white swoosh underneath. I’m so proud of the outcome. I hope you do as well. I’m thinking of doing a limited run of these (as well as a few other SpongeBob inspired Lobster Dunks🤫) in a few months. Let me know if you’d be interested.

The historical background for wearing this extraordinary necklace is not very clear. Various stories exist about its historical origin. For example, one reason given is that the tradition of neck rings started as protection from tigers. Several Karen tribe women were killed by tigers far back in the past. So the leader of the tribe decided that women should wear these brass neck rings to protect their tribe from extinction. There is even the myth that the Padaung are descended from a female dragon with an armored neck. According to this myth, the dragon transformed into a beautiful young woman who, along with a hybrid being that was half man and half angel, had two children. For this reason, the ladies of the Padaung tribe continue to wear “neck armor”. Perhaps the craziest story is that men consciously put these rings on women to weaken their neck muscles.
