London Day 1. At last, our London adventures are coming up to treasure for many years 🥳Here is a little glimpse of our 1st day in London. Even though we arrived at the hotel in the afternoon and winter days were short, we jumped right into the action. Despite being tired and jet-lagged, we did so much! 1 & 2. We walked around the Bloomsbury neighborhood that Roqi lived in. 3. Roqi got to show Brixton his old flat he lived in and his school. 🏠 4. We had late lunch in McDonalds as Brixton is very particular about what he would eat so we always make sure there is one nearby just in case. 5 & 6. We stopped by a cozy park where Brixton had to chase the birds (of course!) and play at the playground. 🛝 7 & 8 We went to a few souvenir shops for Brixton and he got a new buddy - a Paddington bear and some toys (he was ecstatic!).🧸 8. We rode in London's subway aka the tube 🚇 9. We enjoyed the city vibe.🌆 We also stopped by the British Museum and had dinner at a traditional British pub where Roqi used to hang out a lot. What a beautiful day it was 7 years ago. Roqi and I decided that having two special days is better than just one (why not, right? 😊) . So that day in the morning we headed to the courthouse to make it all official. It was just the 2 of us and our sweet friend Egor (@photoegor78) who we were honored to have as our photographer (he is incredible, isn't he??). Then we had a wonderful lunch at the rooftop in the city center. And after that headed to Kolomenskoe park to have a truly amazing picnic prepared by our awesome wedding planning team (@feerique_event). . And then the following month we had our wedding with family and friends in a gorgeous park by a monastery, surrounded by birch trees and a pond nearby. It was a fairytale! . Happy Anniversary, my dear Roqi! This day was truly special, just like our whole life together. I'm so so lucky!! . Honestly, I don't think I'm good with words. I gotta be honest with you guys: lately I haven’t been posting much. Rana and Fares’s elopement in Malibu was a pure dream! After longing to celebrate with their family and friends for a long time, they realized it just wasn’t possible to do with all the pandemic uncertainty. This past weekend I had a wedding in Monterey and it was MAGICAL! 🌅Originally Will and Michelle had planned a big party on a rooftop in Downtown LA, but had to change their plans due to the pandemic. . Well, Monterey with 80F (27C) was just perfect as SoCal had the highest temperatures around 120F (49C) that weekend 🔥 . They had immediate family only at their intimate ceremony on the terrace of InterContinental the Clement Monterey (@ictheclement) overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The rest of their loved ones watched them live via zoom. It was also very special that Michelle’s sister who lives on the East Coast officiated them via a video conference call giving her words of love, wisdom, and encouragement. . After the ceremony, we headed for lunch to the Inn at the Spanish Bay in Pebble Beach and had fun taking some portraits at the beach and enjoying stunning scenic views. . Woohoo, these two lovebirds became husband and wife yesterday!!! 🥳 Alyssa(@thereal_allymarie), Jonathan, you two are sooo sweet and beautiful together, my heart was full witnessing all the joy you shared! ❤️ .
