This state signifies ignorance and the need for solid faith to evolve into a more enlightened state. Moving from solid to liquid is a transformative process where the student becomes more flexible and adaptable. This transition signifies the burning away of the solid, rigid characteristics through spiritual practices like zikr and chanting, leading to a more flowing and less objectionable character. Transitioning from liquid to gas represents a subtle and ethereal state where the student becomes more sensitive to energies and signs in the universe. This state signifies the student’s increasing control over their physicality and their ability to move independently of their physical form, akin to the power of the soul. In the spiritual context, these states reflect the journey of the soul towards annihilation and effacement in the light of the Mentor, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and the Divine Presence. To reach the gaseous state means complete submission and surrender to the Divine, allowing the soul to move freely and independently at the speed of light. Ultimately, these states symbolize the student’s progression towards Divine Love and the importance of spiritual practices in withstanding the transformative heat of the spiritual journey. Der Vorzug von Schawal Es ist eine Sunnah sechs Tage im Monat Schawal nach dem Monat Ramadan zu fasten. Darin liegt ein gewaltiger Vorzug. Zu dessen gewaltigem Lohn gehört es, dass wer diese (Tage) fastet, ihm das Fasten eines ganzen Jahres gutgeschrieben wird. Der Prophet ﷺ sagte: „Wer Ramadan fastet und ihm (dann) sechs Tage des Schawal folgen lässt, für den ist es als hätte er eine lange Zeit gefastet.“ - [Muslim, Abu Dawud, at-Tirmidhi, an-Nasaa’i und ibn Maja] Und er ﷺ sagte auch: „Das Fasten des Monats Ramadan ist gleich dem Fasten von 10 (Monaten). Und das Fasten von 6 Tagen ist gleich dem Fasten von zwei Monaten; so ist dies das Fasten eines ganzen Jahres.“ - [an-Nasaa’i und ibn Maja] Es ist gleichgültig, ob man alle sechs Tage hintereinander oder vereinzelt fastet. Selbst wenn man im Schawal jeweils Montags und Donnerstags mit der Absicht fastet, die versprochene Belohnung zu erhalten und so auf die sechs Tage kommt, würde man sie bekommen. Eine Frage, die sich häufig stellt ist, ob man verpasste Tage des Ramadan mit den sechs Tagen von Shawal zusammenfasten darf. Dies ist jedoch nicht möglich, da es sich um zwei unabhängige Ibadat handelt, die unterschiedliche Ziele haben.
