❗️ Gray coverage ❗️ When should you cover it dark or blend it in/camouflage it? Let’s talk about it; As we get older or if it’s genetic our hair starts to lose pigment which causes it to become grey or white. - The best coloring technique for gray hair ultimately depends on your desired look and how much coverage you want. - You could go darker but you could see yourself going into the salon every 4-5 weeks depending how fast you see your grey root. This is if you’re one solid shade and just want a darker overall look! This is a root retouch or an all over color. - Highlighting may be better if your goal is seamlessly blending your grays. This gives you a less harsh grow out and possibly going to the salon less. Happy Black History Month! Too Focused on the Positive to Dwell on the Negatives. February is off to fresh start and I am reminding myself daily with affirmations that your thoughts change your life until your thoughts become your reality!! Starting by reading this out loud some point in the day. I will receive all the good life has to offer me! I am a good Mom! I am the most awesome person I've ever met! I will have patience and no regrets! Love yourself more! Give yourself grace! Take it one day at a time. You can do this, it's been done before! Life happens at an alarming rate, it's constantly changing, hectic and unpredictable. I'm thankful that I am able to wake up with a fresh start everyday. Time with family is a precious gift and everyday is a blessing. I'll be DAMNED if I don't do everything in my power to get ALL the time I can! I love these moments. Quite and calm , this moment comes after challenge and noise, that you soon forget all about. Remember this - pain is temporary and the pain actually takes you to a place you need to mentally reach , it is an important aspect of the journey of birth. While you may dread the idea of pain , I promise I have seen mothers feel more pain in the moments of labor and delivery then they will likely ever experience and then smile once they deliver. It’s temporary and your motherly body is designed to do it. Trust you , you are more than enough !
Post partum days look a lot like this. While you may not find laying in bed with a baby attached to you all day and your other breast leaking in the process of it, these moments are intimate and nurturing. Your newborn is absorbing your touch and infants development depend not only on the nourishment supplied to them via basic nutrients and fluids but also via physical touch. The connection is unmistakably powerful.
