Happy Lunar New Year - The Year of the Ox The Ox is characterized as loyal and hard working. Sydney was born in the year of the Ox and she is both of those and more. These pictures are 12 years apart. She has been by my side literally and figuratively through my entire journey to health. Yes I am a Health and Wellness Coach, but I am a mom first. I often think about what I want both of my children to think and see when they see me. Do you think about that too? They both know I love them fiercely but do they see how hard I am working to love myself? They both know how hard I work to give them a wonderful life, but do they see how hard I work to give myself the life I want? I can hope that they hear me when I tell them these things, but I KNOW that will be abundantly clear if I SHOW them I am doing these things. I know that if I BELIEVE I am worthy and take actions to prove it they will learn that as well. I plan on continuing to have more side by side pictures of being an ACTIVE participant in my life with both of my children by side. Don’t you want the same thing for yourself? Personal development and a snack box are on my agenda for lunch today. I start the new LIIFT4 program today and I’m really trying to dig deep and figure out why I continue to stop myself from achieving my full potential and block myself from reaching my goals. Getting over these mental roadblocks, pushing myself physically, and forcing my body to work in ways I know it can is going to be hard but I know deep down I can do it.....I just need to act on it! Today I dedicate the next 8 weeks to making these necessary changes so I can be the best version of my I can be. So I can be the best mommy to my baby girl, both physically and mentally, because she deserves all of her mamma 100% of the time! She deserves to see her mom confident in herself so she can learn to do the same.
