Tonight, I'll hit my 10 month's sobriety milestone, and over the past few days, I've honestly been using this phrase A LOT in my daily self-talk. It's been pretty effective in keeping me from succumbing to that silly glass of red I've been romanticizing lately. I don't know why it's suddenly taunting me again, but when I play the tape forward, I know it's not worth it to go there again. Working with my recovery coach has got me learning the habit of journaling, or at least taking hard mental notes when I'm falling outside of any of my life goals I'm currently wanting to put into place. It's work. It's not easy. I am not a half marathon or marathon runner at all . I have began to slowly the progress of running again. Right now I am walking around three miles a day . I have dealt with gym anxiety in the last few months . As a former college athlete I have no clue where this came from ( I think it came from emotional abuse from a previous relationship years ago ) . But it has caused depression and weight gain so it time to take control and exercise outside . Οι νεραγκούλες @polyamorous.athens έλαμπαν φρέσκιες στα πήλινα βαζάκια μου, η τεράστια κέντια είχε πετάξει καινούργια καταπράσινα φύλλα σαν ομπρελόδεντρο πάνω από την ξύλινη μπάρα, ο φρεσκοκομμένος δυόσμος στο πάσο μας έσπαγε τη μύτη, οι γυάλινες πόρτες ήταν ανοιχτές και το αίθριο λουζόταν στο απαλό, καθησυχαστικό φως του Κυριακάτικου απομεσήμερου. Σωστότατη θερμοκρασία, ούτε κρύο, ούτε ζέστη, τα κορίτσια φορούσαν τιραντακια αλλά κρατούσαν στην πλάτη της καρέκλας και μια αφράτη ζακέτα. Ελέγξα τα κρεμοσάπουνα στο μπάνιο, τα μαξιλάρια στον καναπέ, τα κάδρα αν είναι ίσια. Είμαστε πολλοί οι διαταραγμένοι που πιστεύουμε πως αν δεν βάλουμε το δικό μας χέρι ή βλέμμα ή φροντίδα σε κάτι, όλα θα καταρρεύσουν. Αν κάτι πρέπει να μάθω αυτούς τους μήνες είναι να ταθισευσω αυτή την αρρώστια. Να αφεθώ και να εμπιστευθώ. Γιατί στο τέλος της μέρας, η ζωή συνεχίζεται είτε με εσένα είτε χωρίς και τα κλισέ έχουν λόγο που υπάρχουν. Ο Αλέξανδρος έκανε σαν το Χάτσικο που με ξαναείδε. God controls everything and His timing is always perfect. We can never imagine or fathom how He works but I do know that when He answers our prayers we will never think about all the time that has went by or the suffering we endured. It will be so big and beautiful we won’t think how long it took. God controls the universe and everything in it. He knows us better than we know ourselves and He always has our best interest at heart. Hold on to the Lord, stay close to Him, grow in your relationship and watch Him do the impossible. He loves to bless His children and show everyone who we belong to! Don’t give up now, victory is coming and we will soon see all God has been working on behind the scenes. Επισήμως εορτάσθηκε η πρώτη εβδομάδα χημειοθεραπείας (χωρίς τυράκια, αλκοόλ, αλάτι, ζάχαρη). Η πιο άνοστη εβδομάδα της ζωής μου. Όποιο φάρμακο μου έγραψαν το πήρα, όποια σπάνια παρενέργεια μου ανέφεραν, την είχα. Το έπαιζα κομάντο, υπερεκτίμησα κάπου στη μέση τις δυνάμεις μου, με σήκωσαν κυριολεκτικά από το πάτωμα τρεις φορές, την τελευταία έφαγα και intervention αυτοσυντήρησης σα να ήμουν ψυγείο. Πόσες μου στείλατε μηνύματα, όχι μόνο να δείτε αν την παλεύω κι αν είμαι καλά αλλά να μου πείτε πως η αδερφή σας, η φίλη σας, η μαμά σας, η ίδια το περάσατε. Και τι κρέμες βάζατε στα χέρια σας που δεν μπορούσαν να αγγίξουν καν τα πόμολα. Και τι τσάι ζεσταίνατε πριν κοιμηθείτε για να μη νιώθετε το μούδιασμα στις φύτρες των μαλλιών σας. Δε μιλάω για τα πιο σοβαρά. Ακόμα. Απόψε μέσα στο ταξί, πριν φτασουμε, είπα θέλω να γυρίσω σπίτι. Δε βάφτηκα καλά, δεν ντύθηκα καλά, το έκανα μόνο για να υπάρχω. Όμως, έφαγα μετά από δέκα μερες κάτι άλλο εκτός από ρύζι. Ειχαμε κεριά και πιάνο. Ο Μπολίτος έκανε λακκάκια αλλά οι φίλες μου ήταν πιο ερωτεύσιμες από αυτό, αν είναι δυνατόν.
