SOLD: Representing the pinnacle of all things 1980’s Porsche, this 1984 Porsche 935 Kremer Street 2 has found its way into an amazing collection. This is first of only 6 such examples built in 1984 in collaboration with @kremer_racing and @dpmotorsport . Starting life as a RoW 930 and immediately sent from Porsche in Stuttgart to Kremer Porsche Racing in Cologne where the transformation begins. The turbo charged engine is built to 700HP by the same Kremer Racing team who built the LeMans winning 935s of the late 70’s to early 80’s. The K2 is then bodied by Ekkegard Zimmerman and his team at Design+Plastik with 935 Slantnose Wide Body. Paired with the original 3 piece BBS wheels, Kremer racing suspension, power Recaro sport seats and roll bar the K2 is finished Feb 2st 1984 and delivered to it’s commissioner Dr. F. Paletta of St. Louis, MO. It would stay with its original owner until 2008 when it would come to Florida and stay in great collection until now and showing just 22,000 actual miles. The mid 2000's era VLN/ADAC Nürburgring 24h had probably the best catalog of any series when it comes to unconventional GT racing machines. Here is one of my favorites from this very peculiar era: the Raeder Motorsport Lamborghini Gallardo SP8. I doubt there is any child of the 00's who can dislike this if I'm being honest. • Specs: 540PS from the stock 5.2L V10 mated to a 6-speed Hewland sequential, 1150kgs empty, add 200kgs of ballast (per regulation). Results weren't on par with the car's looks shamefully... it didn't manage to finish on its first two trials for the 2006 and 2007 edition of the 24 hour race around the green hell. Something very special came into the shop today. My friend's 1985 gray market wide-body DP Motorsports 911. One owner car with 26k miles. Doing a full detail on this one. Fascinating history behind DP Motorsports. DP stands for Design und Plastik. A German Porsche tuner (still in business) who fabricated all the fiberglass and kevlar spoilers, wide bodies and slant-nose 935 race cars for Kremer Porsche back in the day. Amazing morning in Miami. I stumbled across an IG post at 9:30AM about a massive all-Porsche cars & coffee kicking off the week long @dasrenntreffen event. We quickly finished our workout and jumped in the car. The following two hours were extremely motivating and inspiring. These were some of the most special Porsches I have laid eyes on. Truly amazing stuff and an event I will remember for a long time. I get a lot of my ambition and work ethic from days like this. I have to sit back and think about how lucky / blessed I am to own some of these cars already, but the fuel keeps burning to bring “unobtainable” ones within reach.
