1990 - Masta Ace "Me And The Biz" (signed by Ace in 2008, at an EMC show in Philly) . In 1990, Masta Ace released the first single, "Me And The Biz", from his debut album Take A Look Around, released on Cold Chillin' Records. When it came time to shoot the video, Biz was unavailable. So what did they do? The next best thing. They made a paper maché Biz puppet. And the rest, is hip hop history. Years later, the puppet would end up in the offices of the EgoTrip crew. Honestly, there's probably no better place for it to have ended up in. And of course, everyone who saw it had to get a flick with it. Who remembers VIDEOGRAF PRODUCTIONS?!?!? Link in profile to their first. Videograf Productions is an underground video magazine series that documents the U.S. graffiti subculture. Videograf was founded in 1989 by two former New York city graffiti writers #CarlWeston and #ColinKoolSpinTurner. The inspiration for the Videograf series came during the summer of 1988, from the graffiti zine movement. It was publications like New York City's "International Graffiti Times" published by David Schmidlapp and Phase2 and the first color graffiti zine from Los Angeles - "Can Control Magazine" published by Power that planted the idea of doing a videotape version of a fan zine. By February 1989 Videograf issue one was in full production. By the summer of 1989, photographer and graffiti artist #WilliamNic OneGreen joined the Videograf team as a producer. A year later the future cofounder of #EgotripMagazine, writer and television producer #SachaJenkins joined Videograf as well.
