Friday Flowers🌸 This was for the lovely Natasha and it was filled with some of our favourite blooms that Spring has to offer🌸 including some of the first bits from the allotment too- so exciting! Fingers crossed for a few more of these sunny days to come 🌸
Quicksand Roses - one of our all time favourite Roses and very popular in our wedding work 🤍 These soft and fluffy Roses come in a neutral, champagne hue with a touch of dusky pink undertone. However, due to natural variations, slight colour differences may occur, even in the same wrap of Roses which usually happens through the growing process. You may notice that one Roses has a pinker undertone, while the other leans towards a more coffee hue. This variations adds to the charm of the Roses; when combined they create a stunning array of colours and tones that we absolutely adore! We will forever be in love with Quicksand Roses!

A little bit about us… ✨We opened our first shop in Topsham during the pandemic in 2020 ✨We moved to Gandy Street in 2023 after growing out of our first shop and a need for more space ✨In our second year we did over 60 weddings (and got married ourselves!) and the number we do every year keeps on growing ✨ We are an independent Florist which means we are in control the designs we create and where we source flowers ✨Our favourite wedding designs are archways and pedestals, we love big designs!! ✨ We are a huge supporter of British grown flowers and come summer we always have bundles of them in the shop 🇬🇧

On this rainy day I thought I would come here and say hello to all our new and old followers! I’m Charlotte, Co-Founder and Head Florist here at Floren and here are some facts about me 🤍 ✨I am beach obsessed and love living so close to the sea! I have to go for at least a paddle every time I am on one 🌊 ✨I started my floral design journey nearly 17 years ago now and wouldn’t do anything else! ✨ I love reading but take months to finish a book as I love to savour each chapter! ✨My nan taught me to knit when I was a teenager and I still knit when I need a new scarf! ✨I’m a keen swimmer and take a dip in the sea as often as I can - although I’m a bit of a wimp and stick close to the shoreline 😆 Beautiful photography by my wonderfully talented friend @laurawitherdenphoto

Very sad to hear the news that Lewtrenchard Manor has closed!! I have such wonderful memories of dressing the hotel for a wedding last year. Our thoughts on wedding flower budgets… You will often read that you need to spend around 10% of your overall wedding budget on flowers Whilst this is a good starting point, the amount you should spend is up to you!
