Day 189 of 240. 51 to go. Made it to the gym and I did not want to go. But I showed up for myself and felt so much better after my work out. Worked on upper body and some cardio. Lifting is truly my favorite way to move my body. Forever grateful for my support group #grupodeapoyogorditafit. I haven't been feeling great and I totally feel blessed that I am able to have such an amazing group of women who are there to support each other and to lift each other up. In all honesty I am terrified of some things, of changes and of letting go of my need to control things. Making changes in regards tho those fears has not been easy and comes with many doubts. But God always points me on the right direction and I have to remind myself to trust the process and that nothing comes without hard work and transformation. Sometimes I wonder what my life would have been like if I didnโt book that one way ticket to Maui almost a whole year ago. Itโs crazy to think that one year ago, I was preparing for a new journey that would change my life forever. This time last year, I was having so many mixed emotions, not knowing what to expect. I was leaving my family and friends to enter a place I had never been before. Looking back on it all now, this new adventure has taught me so much about myself and what I want out of this beautiful life. I sure wouldnโt trade this experience for anything else in the world. Looking back just 5 short years ago i would have never imagined Iโd be where i am today. Back then I just brought home a teachers pay check just trying to make ends meet.
