La iniciativa cuenta con el apoyo de Soboce y forma parte de un proyecto que implementará proyectos similares en las ciudades de Warnes, en Santa Cruz y Tarija. La Sociedad Boliviana de Cemento se suma así al apoyo que ya brindan a este proyecto la Fundación Mercantil Santa Cruz y TIGO. Con las tres nuevas escuelas sociodeportivas se alcanzará a un total de nueve escuelas en Bolivia que beneficiarán a más de 2.000 niños, niñas y adolescentes de familias vulnerables con la educación en valores a través del fútbol. “Agradezco a todos los que han hecho posible este sueño, a los entrenadores que dedicarán su tiempo y conocimiento a formar a nuestros pequeños talentos, y a los padres y madres que confían en nosotros para acompañar a sus hijas e hijos en este camino”, sostuvo Juan Camilo Tovar, gerente Nacional de Planeación y Marketing Estratégico de SOBOCE durante el acto inaugural. Oh, us? We’re just dedicated Pre-Meds working towards our goal of being leaders in our community through helping those in need with our helping hands at Feed My Starving Children! As Pre-Med Club, we were so honored to fulfill our duties to help the less fortunate through packing meals which included nutrients necessary for a human to survive—vitamins, veggies, soy & rice. Each person at our station played a key role in providing support to create nearly 253 BOXES that contained 54,648 MEALS! What a remarkable job! We had so much fun and we cannot wait to continue to make a positive impact not only in our community and nation, but across the world as well! 🥹👏🏼 • Did you notice the orange bow and the orange letters on my shirt?🤗 I chose to coordinate my volunteer attire with the color orange as the color orange resembles HUNGER AWARENESS! 🧡 Hunger should not be a problem in our world full of resources. It genuinely breaks my heart to know that there are people out there who have been starving for days, weeks & months! However, I am beyond grateful that Feed My Starving Children gave us the opportunity to pack food to feed 150 CHILDREN for a WHOLE YEAR! Last Friday, Our Diverzify Phoenix team, including Wholesale Floors, @spectracf_official, APEX Group, and manufacturer reps, came together to volunteer at @fmsc_org (Feed My Staring Children) in Mesa. Together, we packed food to provide 136 children with three nutritious meals a day for a year. FMSC's mission of nourishing both body and spirit aligns with our values of community and compassion. 🩵God delivered BIG for our final Feed My Starving Children packing session of the weekend! 🩵Our largest group of the day with 90 Volunteers, we packed 177 boxes containing 38,232 meals which will feed 104 Children one meal a day for 365 days! 🩵This brought our total meals packed for the weekend to nearly 150,000, feeding a total of 404 children for a year. Over 1,174,000 meals since we started serving as a Mobile Pack site for Feed My Starving Children. ✨Isaiah 40:29 says, “He gives strength to the weary, and gives power to the weak.” 🩵We give all the glory to God, who is watching over the children who are hungry. Our prayer is that these children will find HOPE in the Lord. And just as the verse promises, “They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” 🩵Thank you to everyone who volunteered this weekend. We had a great time packing meals with Feed My Starving Children this beautiful afternoon. The entire Noon-2pm shift packed 126 cases (each case has 36 food packages and each package has enough food to feed six six). So that’s 27,216 meals, enough for 74 kids to be fed for an entire year! Our CTK group packed 19 1/2 boxes, which is 703 packages. That equals 4218 meals! Way to go team! #FMSC #LoveGrowServeSend

Double the people… Double the packing! The Holy Spirit was felt by ALL during Redeemer’s Feed My Starving Children packing session #2 tonight. 82 servant-hearted leaders filled 148 boxes. A total of 31,968 meals! This means 87 children will receive one nutrition-rich meal a day for a full year. Thank you to everyone who shared their Friday evening with us! Our first packing session was small (65 people) but mighty (packing 75 boxes containing 16,200 meals!) The best number from our 3-5pm Feed My Starving Children session, however, was 44. This amazing team of adults, youth, and children filled Manna packs that will now feed 44 Children one meal a day for a full year. Praise God! Stay tuned for more updates from the weekend to follow! Feed My Starving Children is an international hunger relief organization providing meal packs to 70 countries for over 30 years.
