Ho letto un post della proprietaria di @belliemonelliabbigliamento che mi ha molto colpita, in cui si lamentava della continua richiesta di abiti “da grande” per bambine molto piccole, anche intorno ai 6 anni. Giustamente, lei rivendica la scelta di proporre abiti “romantici”, da bambina e di non acquistare per il suo negozio capi con tagli e colori tipicamente da ragazza/donna adulta. Addirittura, ha scelto di non trattare più la fascia 8-12 perché le richieste erano esclusivamente di abiti “da grande”. Questo dato, messo insieme a quello delle “Sephora kids”, accostato alle bambine “usate” dalle nutrizioniste per far pubblicità alla loro attività con tanto di conta dei chili persi e applausi materni e messo a confronto con quello delle baby-influencer mi fa domandare: esiste una correlazione tra tutto questo e l’insorgenza sempre più precoce dei DCA? Non lo so, solo studi scientifici possono dirlo ma quel che è certo è che questi fenomeni non aiutano, così come non aiuta che dietro a queste bambine-donne ci siano genitori che fomentano o semplicemente sottovalutano questa tendenza.
