Our Alaska cruise in May 2023 with @princesscruises was so epic that I had a hard time picking just ten pictures for this carousel! Swipe to see them all! We initially posted this partnership on @lorrainecladish. @phildiederich and I will never forget this trip, for sure. Although there were tons of memorable moments, I couldn’t get enough of the dog sledding pups and the views of snowed mountains and glaciers! We couldn’t take a bad picture even if we tried! I will never forget the morning we sailed into Juneau, Alaska. That was our first glimpse of what was to come, and it was surreal. Meeting the dog sledding pups in their camps away from the snow and the glaciers was a super highlight. And, of course, dog sledding was just epic. The helicopter ride to the glacier was fabulous, but so was cruising along Glacier Bay National Park. Canoeing in Ketchikan was a super adventure then walking around Victoria, Canada, was quite the treat. Alaska wasn’t on my bucket list until I was planning for it! And boy, am I glad we did it! It’s one of those once-in-a-lifetime trips. Doing it on a cruise was even better because we got to enjoy ourselves and relax while we traveled to each destination. They move down slope through the landscape propelled by their own weight and gravity. These are some pics of a glacier in Glacier Bay Alaska while cruising the Inside Passage. I took a cruise for a few days only 'cos I'm not very good on water as I get pretty sea sick 🤢but this was worth it. 👌 I tried to capture the thick sheets of ice and show their enormity but I'm not sure I succeeded? It was absolutely breathtaking!
