*** HARALSON BELT BAG*** I went workshopping at @madeline_de_stoffenmadam today ! After seeing so many lovely #haralsonbeltbags, it was time to make my own. I used the leftover fabric from my Jack backpack and made my own matching Haralson! The lovely @an_van_dessel was in charge of the workshop and taught me some very useful tips and tricks, which made this a very fun sew! MATERIALS @CREATEMBER #creatember2023 This month I'm participating in the creatember challenge where you'll get to know more about me as I create and today, what materials inspire my makes. I've sewn and collected fabrics for over 50 years, so I have quite a variety of materials on hand. Quilt cottons, cotton canvas, waterproof canvas, waxed canvas, linens, and vinyls, etc. fill my shelves. Sometimes I'll see a pattern and imagine it sewn up in a particular substrate. Other times the fabric nudges me to sew a specific pattern. This month I'm trying to create items that will use instock materials #shelftember and bridge the transition from summer to fall.🍂 I can't recall where I got the vintage floral, navy swirls fabric or cream cotton webbing but I can outline the other sources.
