#dollevolution2024 for Rom! He’s been reshelled once but has only had two faceups and wigs in all those years. He’s a character who grew out of the doll, so a lot of his initial personality came from his original sculpt (Volks SDC Arashi) and keeping that energy was key! This is Lily, Lily was dropped off by the adoption agency this morning for a trial period before I can start the official process of adopting her. She arrived with only the clothes on her back, an age inappropriate halter dress not fitting for a sweet 6 year old. As funds are tight, I will have to try my hand at sewing some clothes for her. All of my money needs to go for legal fees for her adoption. We will get by, things have a way of working out, God willing. She has had it tough as she was abandoned as a baby and moved around from one foster home to another. Lily is very shy and hasn't spoken a word yet. I have taken vacation time off and afterwards can work from home. I will have to register her for kindergarten right away. Not sure about her prior schooling. Details of her last few years are sorely lacking. Well, I took my time but here's the new old man in the block, folks. 🧓🏾 Meet Hamzah Malik, he's the general and head honcho of my mercenaries. And the likes of Hassan and Mahir will not admit it, but Hamzah is a sort of paternal figure to them. Hamzah took them under his wings and raised them to the rowdy bunch of rogues that they're now. The respect they have for him wasn't born out of fear, as some would surmise just by looking at the older male's stern demeanour, but out of admiration, and to some, gratitude. He has a lot of past history with each of his 'kids', but that's a story for another time. TLDR; Hamzah is a cool daddy and I finally have a (hot) silver fox in my crew heheh 🔥🥳 . . His BEAUTIFUL faceup is by the ever talented @_ducmon_ to this day, I am still in awe of the amazing work he did on my old general. The outfit from the previous photo is complemented by a toga (Trabea). The toga was a symbol of a Roman citizen. A citizen sent into exile lost the right to wear a toga, and foreigners were not granted this privilege at all. The toga was the official clothing of primarily wealthy people, but over time it began to be worn less and less. It increasingly went out of fashion, and was worn only where it was necessary: at public games, in court and on other official occasions, during sacrifices, as well as by clients who came to greet the patron in the morning. Trabea - a toga that has three types: entirely made of purple fabric, dedicated to the gods. The white and purple trabea is the clothing of the Latin and early Roman kings, purple and saffron with a purple border, worn by augurs, consuls at festivals and aequites during transvectio. The toga was a large piece of woolen material, which had the shape of a segment of a circle or a trimmed oval. The length of the toga along the straight edge could reach up to six meters or more, and the rounded edge was approximately two meters away from the straight edge at the widest point. Due to such a huge size, the toga itself was quite heavy and cumbersome, it was difficult to wash, and therefore many Romans did not like to wear it, but the emperors persistently taught everyone to wear it. A prerequisite for wearing a toga was beautiful drapery, that is, a beautiful arrangement of folds of material on the chest. Eu não sei vocês, mas eu sentia muita falta de ter plantas, eu tenho plantas em casa, mas os locais que ficam a luz é ruim ou é literalmente no meio da rua. A solução foi comprar essas placas de jardim vertical, eu queria muito mesmo comprar elas com plantas preservadas pois eu acho lindos mas provavelmente eu iria danificar elas rápido já que não deixo expostos eles sempre ficam guardados e só uso nas fotos (sem falar que são caras demais). Mas em fim, depois de muita procura encontrei esses e até que agradou, não foi o modelo que eu queria inicialmente mas pela resistência e o efeito nas fotos valeu muito a pena. Comprei duas placas pois pretendo usar com os SDs também, agora não vou mais ficar na vontade de fazer foto externa com eles e nem ficar todo preocupado com o "e se sujar e se cair e se..."
