I don’t usually paint Wallflowers as small works. It’s tricky working gesturally with a palette knife on a small scale. But there are benefits to being challenged and when this teeny 30cm project came to the door I accepted it. (It was to match a previously purchased work from many years ago) Admittedly, it took me an entire year to actually sit down and do it 🙄 Glad I did.
